    FWIW: I don't believe Ball isn't in shape. Not as fast as they expected? maybe. Jerry Rice wasn't the fastest WR in the NFL, but I don't remember him getting caught from behind. When the dust settles and he's a Laker, the truth will come out.

    Has ball been reported to work out for anyone else besides last rumor of possibly phi? If he isn't, he's either very confident and dumb at the same time or all these reports bout la concern of ball is as others say, just smoke

    As far as I know he's had no public workouts with any other team, but it's possible he's had workouts that the media isn't aware of.

    lot of rumours linking jackson to the lakers. i think its all just a bunch of BS but you never know. maybe they saw something else they didn't like during ball's workout

    if they actually take jackson, where does he fit? the thing with taking ball was that it would shift russell to the 2

    not sure where jackson fits in with this lineup

    I guess he'd be the 2, Russell stays at the 1, Ingram 3, Randle 4. Doesn't seem like a great idea to take a shooting guard that isn't actually a great shooter, but I guess that's where he'd play. Or off the bench with JC remaining at the 2. If that were the case it'd be a little depressing though.
