I don't really want any part of Drummond or Jackson. I thought extremely highly of Drummond until this season where he was asked to shoulder more responsibility and he completely collapsed in on himself. It was embarrassing.

Reggie Jackson thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I have no love for him. He got to Detroit and his attitude didn't really change at all like people said it would. If the Lakers wanted Reggie Jackson, they could just draft Dennis Smith Jr.

I like Drummond. A lot. He rebounds, swats, and finishes. I'd kick the tires on him.

Jackson doesn't fit what we do here; he's a ball dominant guard who doesn't get others involved. That's the antithesis of what we're trying to do here with Luke.

Meh. In the right deal, he could go. Actually, everybody could on our roster with the exception for probably Ingram, and I'd still listen to offers on Ingram.

The opportunity to add a Drummond/Noel Center on this team is a game-changer, IMO. You don't have to sacrifice size when you're playing small when you got a big who A.) dominates the boards B.) finishes around the hoop C.) and is blocking shots/can switch. That changes everything...

Drummond revealed he's a dingleberry this season. He was given th3 opportunity to be Dwight Howard and he couldn't figure it out. Now I'm concerned he doesn't know his best role anymore. Just rebound and defend the rim! Somehow he's not a rim defender with all that strength and athleticism.

.10 cent brain. Figures. I also heard he wanted to be more of a focus in the offense. I'd low-ball Detroit; but chances are someone will pony up a lot for him. He's a gifted player.

real said he was given the opportunity to be Dwight Howard above and he couldn't figure it out. But seems to have the character portrayal dead nuts.

They are awful fits for this team.
Reggie Jackson is a black hole offensively and if that's not going well, he's just as bad defensively. We don't need someone who thinks hes a star to take away from the young kid's development.
I wouldn't mind Drummond if we aren't giving up too much for him. He's a double double machine with some rim protecting. He does choose to disappear sometimes though and let's not start with that free throw shooting.

Can't add Drummond to this team with Randle at the 4. Noel can cover with defense, but he doesn't have the shot. Drummond doesn't have either, really. He does block shots, but he's not close to Noel's level on defense.

Oopes. I meant to quote these messages in my last post. I agree with both of you on Drummond - he's very good, but he won't work on this team.

No, not the way the team is currently constructed; but we're assuming this team is going to stay this way for the forseeable future. I don't see that, but I don't want to build a team around Drummond, either...

What he needs is a 4-out-1 in type of offense; All 4 shooters needs to space the floor for him to work. Matter of fact, thinking about it, Houston make some sense for him.

Well being he's got the bad traits of Dwight he would fail 4 out 1 in just like the champion in his own mind did when he had that supporting cast. Prime Kobe and Pau yeah but he was Superman right? Maybe whoever we had to go through beats him too that year? (forgetting and too lazy to look) Hack a Dwight.

Here is the deal with a dude like Drummond, Jodan, or centers of that ilk.

This is what they do: they set man like screens, run transition, collapse the defense when they roll to the basket, and create open three-point shots. Look at the impact McGee makes on Golden State when he plays and the space he operates to catch all those easy lobs because of Golden State's spacing and shooting...the problem is as Trodgers pointed out; we don't the roster for that right now.

Drummond will be in the way of Harden's paint flailing. I think Portland would be a good fit for him.

I hope the team doesn't stay constituted this way. We need shooting and defense from the 4 and 5, or we're cooked.

    That's another good fit.

Although, didn't they just acquire Nurkic. They were playing well with him, too.

    Still remains interesting, though.

Completely agree. I'm just not sold on this years class of Free-Agents, Trodgers. Bargain-bin is cool and maybe where we should look; 2018 is a much deeper class of quality players.
