I particularly liked his comment where the average basketball player runs 4 (or 6) miles a game BUT it's not your straight line constant running rather stop and go short bursts and sprints. With that said get the bucket ready Laker players because you guys are about to do a lotta high intensity and plyo type training. It will suck in the beginning but you will definitely see the difference on the court
What's more insane is if BI's arms were any longer he couldn't do the workout. The weights would hit the ground !
Just listened to Gunnar interview on 710 and boy I loved his answers to technical questions. I think he's a much more "Laker" pick for his position. He matches the flash and pizzazz that we're more accustomed to.
Thought I would post both interviews here: http://www.espn.com/espnradio/losangeles/playPopup?id=19559159 Or there is this one with John and Andy K from June 1st. Interview starts at 25:00 minute mark. http://www.espn.com/espnradio/losangeles/play?id=19515545
Different role, but yes I miss Vitti and his bald head. He's still around the team from what I hear just consulting here and there.
Awesome! First time I have seen and heard him speak. Very impressive. Has charisma. Has IT. :Headbang:
"I want to be part of something great and there's something great going on here. There's a revival, this is the purple and gold of old. And I want to be part of that." I always like hearing something like that. Heck, a similar line like this landed me my current job.
We need to work on our cardio. Some of the kids looked gas from not even playing 30 mins. We need to play then 30+ and we just saw GSW run LeCavs out of the gym.
