In a draft where there's no transcendent player and the top 6-8 or so players are relatively on the same playing field, do you pick best player available or best fit.

Bostonians can be chill but they're like that over confident chick who acts like a 9 when she's a 6 at best.

Somehow, I think if they changed Ball's name to Russell in that report, you'd agree with every word.

That said, Ball has flaws; when he struggles this year, don't say we didn't warn you.

Why you hating on your grandson?

Ball makes everyone else better. The only part of the assessment I agree with is his ability make great off ball cuts to the basket. That's why his FG% was insane

Sounds right to me....only way i see we get the best out of Ball is to let him dominate the ball but if Luke is copying gsw style, we dont need a Cp3 like pg. We dont have a guy on this team who can attack paint and break down defense consistently, its a shame Fox isnt a better shooter right now, if he was he would be a much better fit IMO

    Lonzo's granddad posted article:

"Ball’s burst with the ball isn’t a plus by NBA standards by any means, especially when he doesn’t have a full head of steam. He also struggles to separate without an explosive first step and agile change of direction ability. But his biggest slashing negatives to me are his ball-handling, lack of strength and his raw instincts attacking the basket. "

    :KobeConfused:

Sounds like he's not much faster than white guys? What was your son ranting about after Kentucky beat them and Fox lit him up? Is this fake news from the "Libs"?

Lonzo is athletic, I don't get the hate on his speed, he's definitely not slow or average.

It might help to actually watch Lonzo play before commenting on his game. He doesn't "dominate the ball." He's not "a CP3 like PG". He's the exact opposite kind of PG than CP3. He's a move the ball fast to the open man, low usage offense initiator more than he is a traditional PG.

And he's going to come into the league stronger physically than Russell was his rookie year. Lonzo's got the frame to be a strong player in this league. Long as he's got the "Big butt" going on down below. Check that Gunnar when he gets here! So this is the evaluator that knows more about Zo than most of the rest of the scoutings from others. Amazon reviews are like that too. You can tell virtually everyone loves certain products and equipment you're looking for. But there's always the few to show up and call them the worst pieces of **** ever.

What are you saying Kh? Luke's not going to be able to run the offense he wants to run? Why? You've heard all the organization's comments including him how much they like the way Lonzo plays. It's the closest thing to Magic on the Lakers since Magic. He should know. We have the athletes and a lot of the skills across the roster already to do so.

What are you saying? I didnt bring up luke or the offense, i said we dont have a penetrating guard, which the article highlights as one of balls weakness. Ill still stand by my comments that Ball will need to dominate the ball if we are playing to his strength

His strength is pushing the ball and making the quick pass. Watch his games. He's not going to be the type of guard that dribbles the ball for 20 secs of the 24 sec to run a play.

The kid makes great half court passes and length of the floor outlets for easy transition pints

Well now what I'm saying is that what you're saying Kh is whack. It's totally not what anyone in the FO or the coach is saying. What kind of a take is that. You say so and the organization and their talent evaluators know squat?
