Yeah I'm not sure we can get "screwed" here. No matter what we're getting a very talented kid. If they pick Lonzo for some inexplicable reason, that's okay. We'll get Fultz or Fox or Jackson or even Tatum or something. It'll be okay.

If we take Fultz, Ball or Fox we're not getting screwed, we didn't settle, and we'll be a lot better.

    Win-win-win situation.

    Bring on the draft!

Gimme the kid that is 6'6" and everyone raves about what a floor general he is already and how fundamentally great a passer he is already and gets his teams into efficient ball movement as a matter of the way he naturally plays the game. And oh yeah shoots much better already and finishes at the rim better already than everyone else. What am I missing besides questions of how decent defensively he can be? What he's going to do for the team and the rest of the guys trumps all that. Pardon the expression. :p

If Lonzo reminds Magic of Magic, then why would Boston not take him with the 1st pick?

It was a leading question. They asked him "does anyone in this draft remind you of yourself?"

He could have said "no" but they lead him right into the comp.

    Ahh, I see.

What about the idea of Boston threatening to pick Lonzo first, then leveraging that against he lakers for their #2 pick and #29 pick?, or some combination thereof. This would be an NFL draft day trade type move. If it can be done then if I were the C Bags I would take that chance.

i would call their bluff; take fultz, then sign ball later if he developed.

lavar said he'd be a laker; he didn't specify when...

    Let them take Lonzo.

I'll gladly take whatever other kid we go with. Fultz, Jackson, Tatum, Fox... we've got options. I like Lonzo a lot, but I'm not putting all my eggs in that basket.

    Noooo. :Kobe Speechless:

Of course he does. Of course he's our #2 pick if he's still there when we pick.

Like much of their fan-base... I always scan their crowd if I happen to catch their game on TV. Not too many black folks in the crowd.

For the most part, that's every game, every team, every city. But yes, Boston and Utah are the worst.
