It's all about that Crowder comparison.

    Crowder at the draft: 6'6.5" with shoes/ 241 lbs/ 6'9.25" wingspan/ 8'3.5" standing reach/ 31" no step vert/ 34.5" vert
    Ojeleye at the draft: 6'6.75" with shoes/ 241 lbs/ 6'9.75" wingspan/ 8'6" standing reach/ 35" no step vert/ 40.5" vert

Nice. Now we're getting a little more serious. Except there's no way Alford is 6'3" and he's not an NBA player. Jordan Bell, Kennedy Meeks, and Dwayne Bacon are all interesting though. I don't know that Bacon and Meeks make it but I think Bell does. I'm not familiar with Brimah or Walton Jr.

I'm big on standing reach; his standing reach is excellent, and he looks a more athletic than Crowder. Mike Schidmt talking about his ability to "leap in space." You can tell by that vertical. Good stuff.

Jordan Bell is the most interesting of that bunch for me.

Heard he may go as high as late teens.

Standing reach for MKG was 8'8.5" and Semi is 8'6"

After seeing the Jae Crowder comp, I think Semi is a mix of Crowder and MKG.

he's not as "cagey" as crowder, but in truth, crowder doesn't really get to showcase that much in his current nba role (in dallas, they occasionally use him as a point-pf type, like he was in college). but it could still translate in off-ball ability (crowder always finds himself open--maybe that's partly defensive design, but some of that is probably hoop iq).

anyway, if ojeleye's there, i'd love to have him. i question whether he'll be available there.

Really liking Ojeleye after watching a few videos. Hope he's available to us at 28.

He really would be an ideal small ball center in the fashion of Draymond.

My dream pick would have been Grayson Allen too bad he's going back to college.

If we get him, someone will be employed elsewhere...

Come on. He would be the unskilled version of JR. Not worthy to carry his jock strap. This is Julius's taking it to next level year.

He's a great character guy from what Mike Schmitz has said in knowing him since his HS days.

Boom or bust on Giles. I think we're in a position to roll the dice.. build up his value when he's healthy, then see if you can package him up and sell high for a proven/consistent player.

there will be some interesting prospects at 28 (maybe bell, giles, ojeleye, etc.). i'm really curious to see what the lakers do there. nance was out of left field, so maybe all those dudes are on the board and they go a different direction. still, should be some talent there, just a matter of identifying it where others missed. i suppose the #2 pick is a test of the new regime, but 28 will also serve the purpose.

    or they'll trade it.
