Creating space isn't equal to shooting threes.

So can Ball. He's a better rebounder, passer, and finisher in transition. He doesn't shy away from contact like Fox. Fox may be better at the PNR and a better defender (against college comp) but the list stops there imo.

We were talking about shooting threes though.

The Motion offense that Luke and the Warriors run doesn't depend on the pick roll as much as it does with off ball screens and back door cuts, which Ball is perfect for.

This is where I'm at as well, realdeal. Having watched UCLA as a Bruin alum it was nothing short of remarkable to see him turn a very pedestrian team into a contender just with his addition. The things he brings to the court are very special. He runs an offense like no one I've seen in years. He's other worldly in that department. And honestly I think that's what we need here in LA - an incredibly exciting player who can run it and bring some Showtime like "magic" so to speak back into our game. Fox is an extremely nice player, and one who I would welcome here. But I believe Ball can be transcendent in terms of setting the table here for our team for years to come. He's extremely competitive and he's got the intangibles that I think will take us to the next level.

I can visualize this young squad with Russell and Ball in the backcourt and I think it's going to be so much fun. Those two are almost perfect complementary players. As we talked about earlier this past season, Ball has the ability to run the offense much of the time and allows Russell to move to his more natural fit at the 2. I can see either one of them leading the break or even setting up the half court plays. They can both get hot from outside. Ball drives and kicks more so he can set up Russell in that regard and Russell can also set up lobs for Ball cutting backdoor. Although they are different kinds of players I see them developing as the outstanding backcourt tandem of the future, as Curry and Klay are now.

No, it doesn't, but what does allow for his time for Lonzo to get his unorthodox shot off and still shoot 40% from range.

Again, not enamored with Ball; but, hey, that's what workouts are for; let's see what he can do...

Yeah I saw that. I like Fox more but I can't see us not taking Ball if he's there.

One on one workouts would definitely answer a lot of questions.

I'm not sure what good 1-on-1 workouts would do. Lonzo is a team player. Have them do 3-on-3's with Russell and Ingram.
