George would have to agree to an extension before any deal.

It was incredible fortune for them, but they aren't getting by LeBron even with another star, so..meh. Does allow them to go after Butler if they want to though. Don't know their cap situation, but trade for Butler, sign Hayward, yeah, they're in a good spot to improve.

I don't get the DAR trade scenarios, I'd do a lot to try and keep him... he's a really talented player who can shoot.

Not eager to trade Russell. Randle, sure.

I just don't understand why we're giving up such incredibly valuable pieces for a guy who already has made it clear he wants to be here. Why not save those assets for a player who is under contract longer?

If the general consensus was to trade the pick for Butler, I'd be more on board. Trade #2, Deng, and a couple other young guys for Butler. That makes this team more attractive to George in FA. Otherwise we're trading for a guy who is going to make us average.

We'll be the Knicks. No thank you.

That's my proposal. Go after a star not named Paul George with the #2, then go after PG either with Randle and pieces or in free agency. I'm good with trading Randle because he's due to be paid. If that's not enough for Indy, you wait it out.

I'm good with trading Randle if we get value for him. I'm good with trading basically any of our kids as long as we get value for him (with the possible exception of Ingram who I think will be great).

I'd be fine keeping the pick though too. I'm open to whatever we do as long as it's good value.

KRL thinks we have 5 other guys who shoot the 3 ball.

You do keep the long term in mind, by not trading Ingram or Russell or Zubac. You can use the #2 for a relatively young star and still improve while saying young.

I'm not 100% in on Ball and I feel like we have enough young guys on the team already. My opinion could change through the workouts though.

I don't mind trading Russell or Zubac. I love Zubac, but if he is Marc Gasol that nets us a competitive piece today... I'll take competition today. Russell doesn't move the needle much for me.

It goes unprotected to Philly. Our 2nd rounder this year and next year goes to Orlando.

We keep our 2019 pick and all picks moving forward.
