The D-Fenders just broke their own scoring/league record for a half, scored 98 in the first half. I don't wanna be making lame jokes but I'm gonna, D-League, more like the No-D-League. Seriously, individual stats from these games matter very little the way they play, this is also apparently the league for many guys far too short for the NBA. No knock on Clarkson at all, but he should have huge numbers being guarded by David Stockton, he towers over him.

Clarkson has already hit his averages in the DLeague; he's at 24-7-4 with a quarter to go.

Clarkson looks to me like he definitely works on his game. His passing and especially his handles are better than what I've seen from his college highlight videos.

If this game is any indication of what happens typically, the D League is a good place to work on your conditioning and not much else. No offense. Lots of complaining.

    From the 4th q:

    Black:
playing C, guarding a giant dude (7'3-7'5 depending, and 360 pounds)
standing around a lot, but he crashes the offensive boards
Threw down a big dunk (might've traveled)
Black shot a nice looking jumper from just beyond the FT line
Through traffic for a layup - absorbing some contact
He finished with 23 points (9-14 including a heave to end the game that he missed), 5-6 FTs (his shot's a bit flat), 12 boards (4 offensive), 5 fouls.

I don't want Roscoe Smith within 100 miles of this team. Went 1 on 4, complained non-stop.

Clarkson got trapped out of a time out. He was frustrated.
    He shot 16-23, 35 points, 11 dimes, 6 boards.
Clearly the best player on the D-Fenders.

Sounds like the disgusting Rookie / Sophomore games. At least in the main game they get after it once in awhile and at the end, and if you are Kobe Bryant guarding LeBron James. Should be interesting this year if Kobe's still healthy and the King is going all decrepit on us. [IMG]

The Lakers have until 2 PM PST to waive Tarik Black to save cash (deal becomes fully guaranteed otherwise).

I doubt it happens, too valuable.
