So, after thinking long and hard, there are really only three scenarios I can imagine if we keep the three.

    a. Keep the player.
    b. Move the pick and Deng for Blake Griffin.
    c. Move the pick and Mozgov for Nerlens Noel (and possibly more).

    Roster:
a - you can figure that out.

    b -
    Russell/(Ennis)
    George/(+Wing for about 5M)/(Nwaba)
    Ingram/Brewer
    Griffin/Nance/Black
    Mozgov/Zubac/(Black)

    c -
    Russell/(Mack)/Ennis
    PG13/(Mack)/Nwaba
    Ingram/Brewer/Deng
    Ilyasova/Nance/Robinson
    Noel/Zubac/VET MIN

Definitely impressed me overall with his play during the tournament. Hard worker on both ends of the floor. I'd take a look at him in the second round, especially if we plan to ship out any of our young forwards.

Thanks, Elgin, and I agree with your assesment of his play during the Tournament this year.

I'd like to get his measurements, though. Standing reach, height w/shoes, wingspan, etc

Yeah. I'm definitely wondering how tall he really is.

According to DE at the Nike combine last year he was measured at 6'8.5" with a 6'11" reach.

    He definitely works with him.

He'll learn the powers of Wojo, eventually. Can't get them all correct, kid.

I don't automatically believe the players in these cases. We live in a post-truth world, after all.

What's best case trade scenario if we keep the pick, especially if it's #1?

Can we get Paul George and another all-star via trade AND unload Deng WITHOUT giving up Russell, Ingram, or Zu?
#1 pick, Randle, Clarkson, #28, and Nance are our assets.

A big part of why I wanted the number one pick was so we could potentially get George and keep Russell and Ingram. I think its unlikely we'll get the pick but definitely hope I'm wrong and everyone was overreacting over the late season wins. Even with the pick, I can't see us getting George and another legitimate All Star who isn't past his prime without giving up Russell, Ingram or Zu.

Even with the number one pick, I think Indy will want Ingram in a package for George. I know everyone loves Ingram and I like him too, but I'd part with him for George. I honestly expect us to have a very different roster with few of these guys left in a couple of seasons.

I don't see any scenario where we are able to get George and another player without giving up at least one of Russell and Ingram. With or without the 1-3 pick.

I think Randle+Clarkson+Top 2 pick does it without needing to throw in Ingram/Russell/Zu.

If Indiana doesn't take that, then maybe Chicago takes a hard look at that package for Butler and we start a bidding war with them.

Either way, I'm not in the camp to mortgage our young talent for PG just yet. I would like some assurance that we would be able to compete right away if he comes here aka make a hard move to acquire Griffin, because right now, even with PG, the team is still not close to competing with the likes of the Spurs, Warriors, or Cleveland at the moment.

Give Russell and Ingram a few more years to develop, then we start talking moving assets.

That may or may not get you George OR Butler, but the question was could we get two stars and unload Deng without giving up Russell, Ingram, or Zubac. I don't see any way that happens.
