There's little chance that Giles stays in college risking another serious injury and losing all hope of being a 1st round draft pick or even a draft pick at all. I mean look at what staying did to Nigel Hayes. A couple years ago he could have been a lottery pick, now he's getting mocked in the mid-second.

Giles needs to get into this draft, blow some people away in workouts, and hope he gets in the mid-late 20s range.

@abeer3 he's had two major knee injuries already. One at 15 years old he was undercut in international play and tore his left ACL, MCL, and meniscus. As a senior in high school he partially tore his right ACL. In the off-season he got arthroscopic knee surgery which set him behind the 8-ball his only year at Duke.

It's possible to move past all that stuff, but he's likely never to be very explosive. He's going to have to learn how to play smart instead of just physical. He's not a super explosive athlete, but he's a smooth one. He gets off the ground quickly, but doesn't necessarily rise over you a ton. He can handle the ball, he's got a good looking jumper that should translate over time. I threw the name Chris Bosh out there a long time ago and I doubt he reaches that high, but he's got that sort of skill set. That's his ceiling I think if he can get and stay healthy and if he wants it bad enough.

If we end up with the same record, is there a tie-breaker?

No. I think they add up all our balls and then split them down the middle. So if 2nd worst gets 10 balls and 3rd worst gets 8 balls, we would both get 9.

Yep. No need to do something stupid, like win games now. I hope Phoenix not playing any of their young guys backfires...

Ahh, the Shaq/Kobe version of reverse dominance is what we are then?

If we are to avoid the Suns catching and passing us we need a 2 pronged attack. I'm calling for the reinstatement of Deng in for Randle and MWP in for Zubac.

Deng alone can see us through this.

Trudell earlier this week for 2 or 3 days kept trying to convince everyone that the Nets can go like 7-2 to close out the season and catch us in wins. You know who to go to for the good stuff.
