We don't need offense. We have that. We need bigs who can defend the paint and pick and roll and rebound.

He won't be able to defend bigs, most PF's will be quicker than him at his age. This isn't the same Paul Millsap from Utah who was a 20 / 10 player anymore.

I have a feeling the clippers are going to break up, I'd go after Blake Griffin, I think cp2 is gonna go back to New Orleans and they might need to rebuild and trade away DeAndre Jordan for a high draft pick.

And then you can trade randle, jc, and Houston's pick for Paul George that's leaving anyways to us.

Best scenario with draft is we are able to keep our pick and draft Ball.

And if dlo becomes an issue then trade him for demarcus cousins.

    Imagine.

    Ball
    Ingram
    George
    Griffin
    Cousins

Mathias Lessort is a somewhat interesting big man prospect. He's a little on the short side, but a good athlete and a hard worker. In interviews he says he wants to be like Kenneth Faried which means hustle defense and work on the glass. Who wouldn't want that guy on their team? Right now he's slated to go #32 on DE so he'd really only be an option for our late 1st or if we lose our Top 3 pick.

DE also has adjusted their picks and moved Ojeleye down and Jawun Evans up. Evans is listed (generously) at 6'1" and is a pretty good point guard. I worry about his athleticism at the next level. I don't think he'll be able to turn the corner in the NBA. He does have a little floater game in the mid-range to help with his height. He is a gamer. He got OSU to the Tourney and put up a great fight against Michigan with 23/12/7 in a one point loss.

For my money, I'm not taking Evans in the 1st. I'm not a big Swanigan guy, but I'd take Swanigan before Evans. I might take Lessort before Evans too.

    http://www.draftexpress.com/article/dennis-smith-nba-draft-scouting-report-and-video-analysis-5836/

Another DE profile on one of the top dogs in the draft. Dennis Smith is an interesting prospect. He's got near-Russell Westbrook explosiveness. Smith can't hit Russ's top speed and I'm not sure he can leap as well in tight windows, but give Smith space and he can throw down like nobody's business.

He is however insanely inconsistent, doesn't always try his hardest, and makes stupid decisions all the time. He would fit right in with the kids I want to get rid of.

i'm a smith fan. i think he's going to go too low in this draft. seems somewhere between steve francis and kyle lowry. probably won't be that good, but still...people were drooling over kris dunn last year.

I just don't like his attitude. We don't need another kid who has a propensity to turn his switch off.
