    Even if that's true, when we trade Randle and Clarkson for Paul George, we need someone to pick up the slack. ;)

    @trodgers @therealdeal @Savory Griddles

    I see, but I still wouldn't draft another PF.

    If we aren't trading, I'd like to fill our glaring needs; a PG or 3&D guard/wing.

    And if we are trading, we are likely giving up our Top 3 or this pick as well to package with DAR/Randle and JC. We'll need more guards.

    With the 28th pick? I think you get best available and hope he becomes a rotation player.

    Alternated between the Laker and UCLA games tonight... With the Bruins offense being suffocated by a tough Cincinnati defense, Ball took it upon himself to get his crew going. He made three deep treys and set up Leaf as well as his other bigs for scores. Ball also found open perimeter shooters in Alford and Hamilton for makes. On defense he was very competent forcing a turnover and keying the UCLA zone defense up top. Best overall game I've seen from him in which he was the aggressor.

    Agree. I feel like he can get to the rim anytime he wants. Other then the one errant pass he made all the right decisions.

    I think the best available method works for the higher draft picks but at #28 it becomes so much of a crapshoot the balance shifts towards filling a need. Unless we see potential that exceeds Randle-Nance-Black-Robinson there's no point of drafting this kid. He'll be so deep in our rotation (or stashed in the D-league) we'll never be able to develop him properly.

    Having said that, the FO will probably draft a player that's off everyone's radar anyway. As we've learned over the past few years, it's near impossible to predict our later picks.

    The Lakers and Suns are having an epic tankathon fight.

    I watched the Suns and they have shut down Chandler, Knight and Bledsoe. Booker is also sitting lately...dammit.

    The Lakers probably will have the record division tiebreaker over the Suns so they can't afford winning 2 more games than Phoenix for the rest of the season

    But let's be honest - we also shut down Metta and Mozgov.

    To be fair, Chandler has been shut down since all star break and Knight has been an awkward fit all season. The Bledsoe s*** down does hurt a bit though.
