Honestly he reminds me quite a bit of Russ in college, the lack of athleticism is apparent same as it was with Russ too. That'd be a concern for me in a league of quick, athletic guards.

Fultz is definitely more athletic than Russell, Weezy. A lot more. Fultz plays under the rim because he needs room to gather, but he can get up there when he needs to and he's faster too. Without knowing, I'd say they are probably close to equal in agility, but otherwise Fultz is a superior athlete.

Wow that last dunk with the woman's head photo bombing the view of where he took off from. Looked like it could have been legit the FT line. That is :Crazyartest:.

I guess it's not immediately apparent by watching him, because even seeing his athletic plays I'm still not seeing athleticism, if that even makes sense. Even on those dunks he looks sorta like he's moving in slow motion, that was maybe the weirdest free throw line dunk I've seen, because the entire time I don't see how he got there. Maybe I'm confusing hops and quickness/speed with athleticism, I don't know. He's a great player, clearly, I'm just still looking to trade that pick if we get it.

fultz doesn't do a lot of dunking in traffic, which is something you'd like to see from someone with his game. it's where the dwade comparisons fall apart (though fultz is already a better shooter than wade could ever dream to be).

He doesn't play an above the rim game. It actually goes in my "plus" column because he can clearly explode in space. He just chooses to play below the rim which to me isn't a bad thing if you have the skill to do it and he clearly is a good shot maker. Ball is similar actually where he'll opt for the layup if he doesn't have an open dunking lane.

I'm still debating if he's saving himself a bit because he knows he's a #1 pick so why waste it on a crap program or if he just can't leap in traffic... still unclear.

Again, I'd move Russell if I drafted Fultz. I might ear crow for that, but I am higher on Fultz.

As you said earlier, though, let's just jeep our pick first and foremost.

I'm a Fultz guy (i think) but that doesn't mean DAR is not a special player/talent. He will do great and i hope it will be in p&g...

What would be your plan to then replace the still elite for being young in shooting and demonstrated multiple times somewhat still ESPN Sports Science Guy Russell .... when he can still be utilized at the 2 or interchangeably with Fultz? Warriors say hello. Portland says hello. Why not keep DAR?

You ship Russell off for a wing; George or Butler.

Then keep Randle? My emotions would be stressed to lose him or Ingram too from our fortunate and well done and rare opportunity high lottery draft picks.

    :DNO2:

And don't be going looking at Zu either.

Trading Russell is insane. Look what he's done since he's been handed the keys. 22-5-4.

He's f****** 20 years old and just blew the all time 3 pointers made record to hell for the Lakers at that age when Kobe Bryant was drafted at 17 years of age. (18?)

    Nothing wrong with selling high.

BTW, the 3 pointers record is nice and all but keep in mind DLo will have attempted 700 attempts over his 2 seasons.

What if indy or chi says either pick or dlo for pg13 or butler, which would you give up?

Nothing to worry; he will probably be here next year.

If, by miracle, we keep the pick, the Lakers will probably go with Ball...

I'm all for DLo putting up numbers. Keeps increasing his value. DLo + Houston #1 ... sign me up.

Tough call. One of them. Just saying they damn well better make sure they put us in contention if they next decide to also give up Ingram, Randle or Zu as well for the next established star level piece. But my sig now says it. I honestly feel Jim and Mitch with Luke and Jeanie now with Magic, Kobe and Pelinka have put in place a HOF worthy FO dream team. What ever they come up with who am I to question the decision. :p :p
