penny had a better jumper and general off the dribble game than ball. i'm not sure ball has a good analog in the league...smarter lavine minus ability to shoot off the dribble? i think the jason kidd with a jumpshot crowd is overselling him.

fultz still reminds me of a bigger lillard, which could be pretty good.

Hard to say on Ball. I'd say imagine Kendall Marshall in a taller, stronger, more explosive body and 100 percent more committed to all aspects of the game. I see a lot of Jason Kidd comparisons and their individual games are not all that similar. What Ball has that's similar to Kidd is his ability to command and run an offense. Ball makes everything smooth on that end and I guarantee you he'll find ways to get guys in their best positions. It comes second nature to him. Ball is already a better shooter at this stage than Kidd was. Ball hasn't proven that he can probe the same way Kidd could.

Fultz to me has a lot of CJ McCollum to his offense. What I mean is shifty turns and fades in the mid-range that he gets to with beautiful footwork. He's more of a point than CJ though and I think if you put talent around him he'll excel as a point guard. Abeer3 brings up lillard which I see a bit of, but again mostly demeanor. Lillard really wants a three or a layup and Fultz is more comfortable scoring midrange. My favorite part of Fultz's game is his tough shot making ability. He can hit a shot with guys draped all over him.

Fultz to me has a better all around potential than Ball. Ball to me is a little more sure to have an NBA career if that makes sense. Fultz has shown some issues with approach and frustration but that could just be because he's on an awful team. I'd need to see him in other environments.

I'm not enamored with Ball myself; I just can't get on the bandwagon.

Well then come up with a catch phrase that's specific for the Tank and Fultz. Fall for Ball works. Fall for Fultz doesn't. Priorities.

...no doubt asking themselves "who's that little white kid that can shoot?" afterwards. :)

That was so cool that they were all there tonight. Best moment was that tip back pass Ball made at the rim and then that devilish grin that Walton had on his face on camera.

Ball is just incredible. To me he's Jason Kidd with a long range jumper. His passing is on another kind of level. Stats showed at the game that he's between Gary Payton (1) and Jason Kidd (3) for most assists as a rookie in the Pac 12. He's number two but might be passing Gary Payton - we'll see. His line tonight was stunning. 19 on 8 for 10 shooting, 7 boards, 8 assists, 4 steals, 1 block.

Well if the Lakers lose their 1st round pick and a shot at Ball, they do get to keep their 2nd round pick and Bryce Alford happens to be a senior. Just sayin.....

I don't think Bryce is an NBA player... good kid by all accounts but too small to be a SG and not enough guard skills to be a PG.
