Well if you see Wall play you wouldn't ask that. I know Russell isnt fast like Wall but Wall gets his O anytime he wants by just driving past his defenders without screens and causes alot of confusion once he gets into the paint, similar to westbrook. To me russell has just been just floating around the perimiter as of late, i see no aggressiveness or assertiveness to force his O onto oppsoing teams

As a proponent of athleticism based prospects, I sympathize with your basic premise. However, if Steve Nash could get to the rim and get layups, why can't Russell?

It's not about his ability to drive and be like John Wall. It's about his mentality. Right now he's flat out choosing not to drive to the rim for easy shots, plain and simple. He has shown he can do it when he wants to and he's shown he can be good at it. Right now, he's not trying hard enough.

I can't take anymore Deng. If Mozgov can be benched, so can Deng. Ennis, JC, Brewer as 2nd unit, problem solved.

I know. He might be the worst contract we have ever signed. Walton and D. George were longer, but this contract...and that veteran leadership he was to provide? Yeeeeaaaaaahhh.

We are more frustrating to watch in person, holy crap.

    - Our offense for both the starters and the bench is awful. Dribble and pass around the perimeter and whoever has it with 5 secs left does something.
    - When they do run plays, it should be read and react. A lot of times someone has an open lane or shot but just continues the play.
    - We need to go inside a lot more, too much perimeter game. Didn't see them go to Zubac until a min left in the 4th.
    - JC, TRob, Brewer and 2nd Ingram were the only aggressive ones.
    - I'm starting to lean towards DAR should be our SG.
    - Randle is annoying me. He's a ball stopper that takes harder shots than it needs to be. He's often in the wrong spot and just lackadaisical out there.
    - Defense is a mess. There's often little to no rotation when someone helps. The corner guy is open every other possession.

This is the one that I don't get. We were running an offense in those first 20 games. What happened? What happened to that team? I remember seein these beautiful double dives to the basket, using decoys...You're right. It's almost Byronesque at this point.

Ingram was literally the only person moving without the ball.

Every time Deng dribbles a step inside the three point line on an ISO to take a long two, God kills a kitten.
