Milwaukee is finalzing a deal to send Roy Hibbert to the Denver Nuggets, league sources tell @TheVertical. Blockbuster move!
OKC sending Joffrey Lauvergne and Anthony Morrow, w/ CHI sending '18 second-round pick with McDermott and Gibson, sources tell @TheVertical. Bulls just gave them away
Bulls blowing it up it seems. Not sure if OKC needed another hustle big man but they get a shooter for Westbrook.
Admittedly, I know nothing about Ennis, but Huertas was essentially a waste of a roster spot. Not much to lose taking a flyer on a guy who was a 1st round pick a few years ago.
WOW. Terrible trade by the Bulls. Meanwhile OKC loading up. McDermott and Gibson are very nice additions.
...outside shooting plus inside muscle to throw at Golden State along with Adams and Kanter down the line. I like how they covered both aspects.
Swaggy be like Dayaamm .... Magic really does like me. I get to do my thang in L.A. a while longer. How much of a discount am I willing to give now? Better check with my GF. Lost the last one. Eff it I'm glad to still see him here. Interesting to see what takes place this summer.
For as much as I hated Ainge as a player, his utter crap-his-pants-ery as a GM has been so wonderful to watch as a diehard Lakers fan. Keep dying in a bunker with all your assets, buddy.
i posted on this in the other thread. i mean, you have to give him credit for fleecing bkn in what may be one of the worst trades ever, but you have to turn that into something. his thought has to be that those picks are worth more than an allstar in his prime. i think almost no pick is worth that. maybe if there were a lebron in this draft, but there's not. go get butler or george with that pick. don't get me wrong, i'm glad he didn't.
^...could be all that talk about George not guaranteed to resign and is "hell bent" on being a Laker?
Given what Indiana was supposedly asking for, I don't blame Ainge for not pulling the trigger on the PG deal. Especially with his ramblings about going to LA. That said, I 100% agree that Boston should have used their numerous assets to acquire a star already. They are just wasting the primes of Thomas, Bradley, Crowder and Horford by basically accepting being a 2nd tier team.
