Good job Byron. If it wasn't for your r******* minute management, sub pattern, none of this would be necessary. At least that's what i think.
Well, so much for the ever popular theory that the mere absence of Kobe results in the rest of the team firing on all cylinders like a super charged engine.
I'm afraid you might be right; nevertheless, the 2nd half of our schedule gets less difficult, and I think we might a somewhat successful 2nd half of the season.

Maybe...or maybe Kobe had to hit a wall. Who knows. Regardless, if he comes back playing well (and smarter) nobody's even going to remember this stretch of terrible play.
I think we all agree with you. He's said and done things that some may not agree with, but I think everyone on this site at least agrees that he poorly managed Kobe's minutes. What annoys me is that he claims that "nobody" saw this coming. Um...were the reporters not repeatedly questioning you about Kobe's fatigue / minutes? Weren't you claiming since August or whatever that you would limit Kobe's minutes? Weren't you the one saying that Kobe's well-being takes precedence over wins? Wasn't Dr. Klapper and everyone in Twitterland saying that Kobe is playing too many minutes? It pisses me off that he would so blatantly lie about how he didn't see this coming or how "nobody" expected this outcome. Kobe's efficiency goes down as the game progresses. Kobe's efficiency has been going down as the season progresses. Kobe's been saying repeatedly that he's exhausted and that his body is aching. It does not take a genius to figure this out. His defensive philosophy or offensive philosophy can be debated on the forums, but his management of Kobe's minutes should be unanimously agreed upon as poor.
Saw that during the game and enjoyed imagining what the other person had said to him to get the 5 rings response from Kobe.
haha.. I'd really love to see him get a legit chance at # 6... rare as championships are and as many as he's contended for already, and won.. no player deserves the shot more than Kobe.
Confirmed that he's going vs PHX tonight. Feeling lucky - back home for the holidays and I'm taking my dad to the game. Please be efficient Kob.
Good luck. Needless to say we all share your wishes. The roulette wheel of going to a live sporting event. I have faith Kobe can play smarter and with less exhaustion and pain.
Well if there is any chance of him being efficient this would be the game after the rest he's gotten. Still I'm surprised he hasnt rested more games. I thought it would for sure be a week
