the problem is we got sabotaged with two useless albatross contracts... now we're toast when it comes to FAs to pair with Cousin like George or Butler thru trade. There was no rhyme or reason to do Mozgov then Deng, we could have lived with one but both doomed us for the immediate future.

So literally the Kings just took fillers. Wow. This is one of the worst trades ever.

I'm fine with not trading for Boogie ... unless JC and Julius would have been the centerpieces of the trade but still commiting long term money to Cousins isn't something I would have been comfortable with ...

    :This:

Sacto office is one dysfunctional place. I get they didn't want to pay Boogie year from now but still, they could get much more i suppose. Cousins and Davis might be a great duo... if they last. I would love for Boogie to bolt and than AD to follow his footsteps :D

I would think they would at least keep Galloway. He's a pretty solid backup PG on the cheap. He's shooting pretty well too.

They got an owner who wanted to play 4 on 5 defense and a GM who didn't know he had to call the NBA offices to officially confirm a trade ...

The Pelicans f***ed up , their mascot would have been enough

If they waive Galloway we should take a look IMO

Oh I saw that already. On a lesser scale we offered them the 2nd pick back in 2015 and they said no.

So instead of Russell (and surely more), and instead of Andre freaking Drummond, they settled on Buddy mother flipping Heild, a mid 1st, and a mid 2nd.

    Wow.

Shades of Allan Houston and Chris Dudley at at 6 years for $200 million and $20 million over 3 years. At least Houston played at near all level.

Pels - Dubs 1st round, make it happen. Ad and Boogie will wreck havoc with the Warriors midgets around :)

For what it's worth, Brandon Jennings tweeted "Paul George to LA next watch" 4 hours ago, but it's been deleted.

If any of you use the Bleacher Report app it's still viewable there. Look for the "twitter reacts to Boogie trade"

If we didn't make those absolutely stupid free agent decisions, we could have had Cousins. It's tough to trade for a talent due for an extension in a year when we have two players who barely earn half their salaries eating up a huge chunk of our payroll. You'd feel more comfortable dealing Ingram if you had added flexibility going into the summer.

This team is such a damn mess.

which makes it even more frustrating considering we couldn't get a better deal done. Pelicans pick is even protected for top 3 and its going to be a mid first rounder.

    Mid first
    Hield
    Evans
    Philly second
    Galloway

    fillers for Cousins. Crazy.

We signed Mosgov. People here tried to defend the signing and now I think it's very clear that from the very start that was a horrible deal. Then we give Deng huge money when he was about to take half from the Wizards.

People kept saying that we had to do something. Why? Why add bad contracts and turn yourself into a team mired in mediocrity when the future only works if the young talent works and with cap flexibility.

Black and Zubac are better than Mosgov. Deng is going to be super washed in a year. It's absolutely absurd.
