Don't really know where to put this but apparently Mason/Ireland have been pushing ESPN to get rid of SAS on the radio. They got Thompson and Trudell an hour long show with no commercials which have been great but no one wants to hear SAS yell for two hours and state opinion as fact.

What passes for sports reporting nowadays, eh? I have to admit I get a kick out of him losing it akin to watching a bad B movie.

Glad we got this win, but man this game should have been a blowout.

Given their recent news, as echoed elsewhere glad we're not the New York Knicks...

Last six games, we're 3-3; our point differential in those games is +3. We have two more games we can win before the ASB. Then we open up with two brutal games after the break (OKC/SAS). I'm focused on getting to the break with at least 20 wins. We got this.

Finally a couple of wins on the road. 3-3 is great. I don't care about the pick, just want progress.

Whats amazing when i was checking out the standings is despite how bad the team has played, they are only a handful of games out of the 8th spot. Lakers at 19 wins and a handful of teams at 20 and 21 wins and the 8th seed i believe is at 24 or 25 wins, lakers need a strong finish for the season

really curious to see what all these teams do at the trade deadline. there's lots of teams with a shot at the playoffs in both conferences, and there's really only one team that's TOTALLY out of all competition. ironically, that team doesn't own its pick (holy crap, bkn!). will denver try to improve? portland? will the lakers be buyers, sellers, or totally disinterested?

I said before in a thread (maybe this one), Stephen A Smith and Kim Kardashian pretty much encompass everything wrong with our society. One is a perfect example of vanity and flash being more important than actual accomplishment. The other is an example of what it means to be a journalist: Outlandish opinions, divisive language and arrogance that is second to none. People like SAS are what too many in this country now define as a journalist or a "news" outlet. It's all "fake news" these days. I hate the term fake news because nothing changes. If you don't like the news, it's fake. Fox thinks all CNN's news is fake. CNN thinks all of Fox's is fake. When you only have an hour's worth of actual news happening a day and you have 24 hour channels trying to fill programming, you can't expect to get a dry dissemination of actual information and facts. It has to be sensationalized and dramatized.

    Sorry. /rant.

SAS is garbage and unfortunately for ESPN, a symbol of that organization for many. It's sports ffs how can you go and screw something up as pure as sports up to the degree that ESPN and their little sensationalist have.

We will not be in contention for our pick. You tankers need to move along, nothing to see here, bottom three pick is not in the cards.

I feel like there's plenty of news, but not enough that fit certain narratives. Heaven forbid the news reports positive goings on around the world.
