    :DNO2:

Dang I miss the days where college ball meant nothing to me or our draft picks were game changers like Brian Cook.

Aren't the top 2 prospects point guards? and the next player is a SF? That's where we have our 2 best prospects.

IMO, we need a stud SG. or SF and slide Ingram to SG.

Fultz is Dwayne wade with a jumper that plays PG! I'd move dlo to SG and make markelle the PG in a heartbeat. Fultz is the closest thing to a guaranteed star player barring injury

DLo is a 1/2 but I've been preaching that he's better as a 2. We could pair him up with a prototypical SG (ie Klay) but an athletic PG like Fultz would be ideal.

I think DLO at SG is a natural fit.

As have I. Which is why this draft that has 3 intriguing PG prospects has me that much more interested in keeping the pick.

And for those who may be convinced Russell is a legit starting PG and/or aren't that interested in Fultz/Smith/Ball, I present Josh Jackson. Freshman SF from Kansas. 16ppg 7rpg 3apg 1.2spg 1.6bpg 49.6fg% 33.9 3fg%. He is considered a "point forward". Add him in with Russell and Ingram in a lineup and just imagine the combination of height/length/ball-handling/play-making potential in that trio.

Russell, Ingram, Jackson, Randle, Zubac/Mozgov... I get this nagging feeling that drafting another guard like a Fultz or a Ball will not sit well with Russell. To be honest, I would prefer this line-up. If by any chance we do add either Fultz or Ball, I'd trade Russell. Add Randle if need be.

How can Ball be the best passer out of college since Jason Kidd when Ben Simmons looks like the 2nd coming of Magic Johnson? Ball has a real funky looking shot from low in front of his face, at least as of some November highlights I just saw for my first glimpses of him. Fultz sure looks like the real deal though. Just wondering if against collegiate competition Lonzo is getting some of the DAR Sports Science Guy hype?

UCLA did beat Washington last night but the Times made it sound like they just have a better and deeper team, "with both guards' brilliance cancelling each other". Did anyone see the game?

Wade with a jumper is an insanely high ceiling. Disclaimer: I've never seen him play, but he's at 64% from the line. He'll struggle to shoot in the NBA in the early going.

i've only seen a little of him, but he doesn't have the wade physique, which was a huge part of wade's success.

he kinda reminds me of a taller lillard maybe?

From the highlights it seems Ball is the better fit next to Russell. Fultz has a score-first demeanor, kind of like Lillard. Ball looks like the better defender too.

I'd like to see us tank in the sense of trading Nick & Lou & Moz & especially Deng.

Prioritize playing the young guys. Still try to win every game. And "allow" our win total to secure our draft pick.

I'd be thrilled with either Fultz or Ball. Either one effectively moves D'Lo to the #2 spot which is good. I don't mind Fultz being a shoot first guard with D'Lo. Both Curry and Thompson are shoot first guards and it works decently for them. So are Lillard and McCollum. So were West and Goodrich back in the day.
