    no thanks to trading for Rondo. I don't even think he's the main issue in CHI. I listened to an interview on the Dan Patrick Show where Stacey King was on and talked about this fiasco. Stacey King is one of the bulls announcers that calls every bulls game and he said that he's watched Rondo during practices and behind the scenes and has been pleasantly surprised by how good of a teammate he has been.

    I just don't want Rondo because we don't need another guard and it would slow the development of our current guards.

    Ibaka and Johnson would give us a massively improved defense, and even though it would seem we'd suffer on O, Ibaka is a pretty good piece on offense and Johnson...well, he's not, but the's an overall solid piece. I'd be down.

    I've argued for Ibaka in the past. It's what this team needs down low.

    You mean the two-headed monster of Omer Asik and Alexis Ajinca, that the team committed 4 years and 78 million to back in 2015, isn't cutting it?

    I'm shocked.

    Anyhow, via ESPN: "Sources tell ESPN that the 76ers and Pelicans are in advanced talks on a trade that would send big man Jahlil Okafor to New Orleans for a future first-round pick and backup center Alexis Ajinca."

    Latest is that Philly is trying to get Jrue Holiday BACK in return. That would take something more than Okafor I think...

    anybody read the rumors on Clev and one other eastern playoff teams looking at Jose? I'd send him away for another 1-2 2nd rd picks, not sure if Clev has anymore but problem with them is we're gona have to take back a bad contract like Shumpert since they're way over the cap.

    I read that but it was in the context of Cleveland was mainly interested in signing Calderon as a free agent if he were bought out:

    VIA ESPN: "The Cavs know trading for Calderon, Bogut or Williams is highly unlikely given Cleveland's various salary-cap and asset limitations. The best they can realistically hope for is that one or more of those three gets bought out after the trade deadline and eventually hits the free-agent market."

    Philly is offering Okafor for Ajinka and a future #1. Why aren't we on the phone offering up players? If his value is that low, we should be in buy mode.

    Combination of the Lakers most likely having zero interest in Okafor given their current C situation and currently not being able to offer up a 1st rounder until 2021, which isn't particularly attractive to teams, because of their current debts that could cost them their 2017 and 2019 1st rounders.
