On fire from 3, only committed a handful of turnovers, got to the ft line plenty, and rebounded very well yet still lost. Why? Can't let the opponent shoot 56%!!! When was the last time we held an opponent under 50%?

We only win by out scoring the other team. It's like defense doesn't even exist.

Indeed, our defense needs an overhaul. But I guess Toronto is number 1 in offensive efficiency for a reason. At least we kept it close for a bit, showed some life there at the end but yeah, these kids have a long way to go.

This team is toast right now...

They are getting exposed night in and night out...the Lakers continue to be one of the laughing stocks in the NBA sadly.

October and November really seemed like to change the perception of this team around the league but they have reverted back to tank mode and being comfy with producing L after L.

Most efficient offense of all time by the numbers so far.

Lowry is shooting and making threes off the dribble ala Curry 15-16 now .

Their D isn't good enough to beat the Cavs though .

Hopefully they will get Millsap at the deadline to make things more interesting in the East .

Lowry and DDR are well known chokers in the postseason though .

The reverse has been just as bad for us too. Teams love getting their big switched onto one of our guards and going to the post. Our guards use the same stupid, lazy reach defense and all the big needs to do is drop step. The help defense is always late.

Yes, there are a lot of issues with out defense. I've noticed that as well what you stated. Hopefully people who know more about the game than I do can address this and fix it.

The easy answer is stop switching. Even Luke has said he wishes they'd stop. Our guards are either unable or unwilling to fight through screens consistently. When they do, our defense is way more effective.

What if actual good picks are set .... what % of those result in success? I have no idea. If they're told not to switch then they get picked off or have to go under, decided very quickly. Too bad our team doesn't set more of those types of better picks than we do ourselves.

We suck. Time to start Ingram and give Zubac more time.

Brandon hasn't looked tired to me yet. Though Luke has been pretty generous and smart with his minutes. Don't want to over do it. And for someone as slight as he is, seems to do well banging around against bigger guys. He seems to play smart in that way.

Might as well do it now. We aren't going anywhere. We need to focus on development right now.

Brandon has not earned himself more minutes with his pitifull offense.

It is ok if we want to sacrifice wins to develop players but first of all the player needs to earn himself minutes. I think Ingram is playing around 27, 28 and thats more than enough right now.

Even Russell and Randle can be blamed for not earning more minutes than last year at this point.

Russell is playing even less minutes.

Ingram sure isn't starter material at this point but as our playoffs chances are getting slimmer and slimmer , we should think future and develop chemistry between DAR , Julius and Ingram .

As Moz is trash and Deng is a PF , we may/should start BI at the 3 , Deng at the 4 and Randle at the 5 around the ASG break ...

i'm with kb: ingram gets lots of minutes for a guy who's been as bad offensively as he's been. look at the numbers if you dare.

my wmc: um, where the hell has this team been for the past two weeks. i know they couldn't do this when russell was out, but man, home games against phx, dallas, the hill-less jazz...those are wins if they play half as well as this.
