Yeah. We were rolling before we caught the injury bug.

We will be fine once the team gets back in a rhythm.

my concern isn't the pace or record; it's that i didn't expect 6 game losing streaks this year, particularly against marginal competition. teams that aren't terrible find ways to scratch out a single win here and there when things get desperate. the phx game sort of looms large here.

as much as luke was standing up for his guys, i thought he got himself tossed out of frustration last night. the poor communication on defense has been inexcusable pretty much all year long. that should be fixable, but it hasn't proven to be. i don't expect this team to be a top defensive squad, but they shouldn't be, like, the absolute worst in the league.

Refs and Clarkson's defense. I watched the game as always but I made it a point to watch Clarkson on defense in the 2nd half. Yikes.....

Beat off the dribble countless times and I couldn't help but think of Luke's post game comments from 1-2 games ago where he talked about taking pride in not letting your guy beat you and go around you.

Oh and losing to the Kings even without Rudy Gay for most of the game.

There's a lot of miscommunication going on defense.

Switching that leads to mismatches that leads to someone leaving their man open. The constant switching also looks like it confuses who covers who when there's a rebound. Getting picked off a screen, Moz having to rotate over and the team not rotating effectively to cover everyone.

1st half we did little switching and then for some reason we went back to switching a lot in the 2nd half.

I don't watch every single game, but from the ones I do see, my complaint is that I only see marginal improvement from our young guys, if at all. And I'm not talking about BI (although his shooting has been disappointing). I'm talking about our sophomores and juniors like Randle, Clarkson, Nance Jr.

WMC's: Missed Free Throws, 8 plus minute dry spell, poor finish.

yeah i'm really not liking the development of our young guys (aside from ingram who just needs to start making his shots)

but to me, this is their rookie season (russ, randle, nance) there was no development whatsoever taking place last season with everything pretty much revolving around kobe

Its ok to lose with this young team if they're doing things right but other team is that much better but they're not doing much of anything right

The problem with this team is one thing and one thing only: FUNDAMENTALS .... Our defensive fundamentals, boxing out, communicating with switches, accountability, and then on offense we stopped moving the ball. Don't get me wrong our young guys are still exciting to watch, however lately we have been playing like last year's Lakers.

We haven't won yet in the month of December. We don't win in Philly I'd be surprised if we won one game the rest of the year.

We lost to some of the worst teams in the NBA :-(
I don't see a winning column getting "a bump" anytime soon...

8 game losing streak matched the 2nd worst from last season...I thought we are past these terrible streaks that make fan's give a rat's arse about this team.

Well, I warned guys to be happy and enjoy the early wins we were getting because it wasn't going to be like that all season.

The current streak stinks but it's obvious to me that the injuries killed all the momentum we had out there. We've taken a step back in our development, but I still think we can turn things around and get back on track. We just need a win, period.

We've got to regroup out there, focus on D, and get back to having fun too. I saw sparks of it last night, but consistency was a problem even when we were winning.
