I hope they do the Royal family. Black Bolt was one of my favorite characters growing up. The strong silent type. :MozgovYell:
It's going to be Blackbolt and the Royal Family. I'm not sure if they'll include any of the Agents of SHIELD Inhumans, but I sort of doubt it.
"LUKE CAGE IS MARVEL’S BIGGEST NETFLIX SERIES OF THE YEAR It isn’t much of a secret that the arrival of Marvel Television’s “Luke Cage” was kind of a huge deal, but now it’s official: “Luke Cage” is the biggest Marvel Netflix hit of 2016. Symphony Advanced Media, a company that gathers media consumption data, reports that “Luke Cage” was Marvel’s biggest streaming hit of the year. While Netflix may not report ratings or viewership numbers, Symphony claims that the show managed to outperform the second season of Marvel’s “Daredevil.” Not only that, it challenged other Netflix originals. RELATED: Luke Cage’s Mike Colter Teases Heroes For Hire — ‘Eventually’ According to the report, “Luke Cage” managed to open stronger than “Making A Murderer” and even Netflix darling “Stranger Things,” although it did fail to keep pace with those two after its first month. Per the report, it’s estimated that in the show’s first 32 days of release, 6.34% of 18-49 year olds were watching “Luke Cage” in an average minute. While that’s something of an odd statistic, it would line up with how most people like to watch Netflix shows: in one long binge session. The second season of “Daredevil” only managed to hit 5.94% in that same metric. Based on this information, it seems fairly clear that the general themes of “Luke Cage” clicked with its audience in a way that other Marvel series did not. While it may not have been the most popular Netflix original, it’s obvious that Marvel has a bonafide hit on their hands. I just rewatched it. It's good not great. So far nothing has lived up to DD1 for me. I think LC missed opportunities to showcase Luke in order to emphasize Harlem. I don't mind that, but it happened a lot. The story also derails when they introduce Diamondback. It stops making as much sense.
I like it. Seems like they've been able to keep their tone while still exploring the universe they're building. It looks fun.
I loved it, had me wanting to see it now, had me cracking up, looks like it could be even better than the first. Marvel is on fire with these movies. (And DC is a dumpster fire with their's, they even screwed up the animated adaptation of The Killing Joke)
I think I said it earlier in this thread, I am looking forward to this more than I'm looking forward to Infinity Wars.
- really liked the song choice - loved the high school vibe - liked the opening - liked the Asian kid (Ganke) as his best friend - the boat was an obvious call-back to the train scene in SM2. Not sure I like it, but we'll see. - I dig the "coming of age/I want to prove myself" plot. Easy and relatable. - a little too much Stark, hopefully less of that in the next trailer - Vulture had some good and bad to him. I like parts of his design, but not all of it. - Donald Glover had a quick cameo. - There's paintings of Bruce Banner and Howard Stark in his school. - I totally dig the pit webs.
I just picture Marvel characters cracking a lot of jokes while DC characters stare back at them with serious, brooding expressions.
Unless there is Kryptonite around, it would be a real short battle. Even if you take out Supes, Manhunter is just about as powerful. DC superheroes are always ridiculously overpowered compared to their Marvel counterparts. Lantern, Supes, WW and Martian Manhunter would obliterate everyone but Hulk...I suppose Supes and Martian would just fly him into space and let him float out there.
Ahh, but this is Avengers vs Justice League and to my knowledge he was never on the Avengers. Loophole? Maybe. My knowledge isn't vast enough to say with certainty he was never an Avenger.
