Some of that no doubt is our starters are averaging the least amount of minutes in the whole league. Love these stats though. Don't recall seeing them posted in this format ever before or linked. Has it always been around or is the site new this year?

Minnesota doesn't even need to go out to eat after the game, because the refs gave them some home cookin'. Damn what a whistle fest.

On the Tim Donaghy side of the game, this officiating was corrupt. Someone had money on this game.

Must be Tony Brothers. No wonder New York hates him. Now matter how much you fight, tough to win a game when playing on 5 against 8. Couldn't even look at them funny without getting a whistle.

It seemed odd, uneven, and blatant, but I hate to ever blame things on refs. Comes across as being a sore loser. Or a Democrat.

Tough game to watch. I hate blaming refs for losses but the calls were awful tonight.

Also Russell had no energy out there. He was barely going through the motions.

Stern's dying wish was to make the Wolves look good no matter what at the expense of the most popular team, maybe some of the fans will care for the woeful Wolves lol

When Larry Nance Jr. was asked by John Ireland about all the points Wiggins scored Larry said "Good for him." with his tongue planted firmly in cheek. I chuckled.

A video of the fouls called for Wiggins, would be great to show how corrupt Tony Brothers is.

Should I WMC about a play early in the 1st quarter where Rubio drove to his left around someone in the key heading toward the basket and Julius seemed like he was in certain reach of him but didn't move a muscle or bend or extend a hand to try to hit or steal the ball? I then watched the replay and still felt the same. Just wondering what anyone thought about that. The rest of the game he played hard it seemed.

officiating doesn't make you lose by 26...but man, wtf was that? i was annoyed at first, and then it just got progressively more bizarre. i do wonder if the wolves would have caught fire at the end like they did had they not been gifted a 12 point lead...

I thought we were playing against Jordan last night, the way Wigging were getting all the calls.

The 26 points came from the kids reacting negatively to the whistles, getting frustrated, and losing heart. Their focus was gone and what was a 10 point manageable lead turned into 20 real fast.

They're young, so this will happen. What they needed last night was one person to calm them down and one person to set a true, hard, nasty foul on someone. Not try to hurt anyone, but to send a message and set a tone for the game. You can flop if you want, but THIS is true contact. Derek Fisher running through Scola is my go-to example. No one is trying to hurt anyone, but you don't let the flopping get out of hand and dictate the game either. Calmly and professionally lay a little wood on the next guy driving to the basket, take your foul (and maybe your tech or flagrant), but get everyone fired up with the energy going in a positive direction of working hard defensively regardless of the whistles.
