Yeah I'm all for a 3 man rotation for the guard position between those three, I think it would work well and they are all similar in size. Williams, while is a great offensive punch off the bench but he can be a ball stopper. Maybe things will look better if he wasn't starting.

Williams plays great against opposing bench units. He is not a starter, though.

If and I mean it is a big if Brown can hit shots consistently, I would rather play Brown over Williams at the 2.

I can also see a situation where I'd like to see Calderon and Brown out there together. However, Brown has to earn my confidence.

odd that huertas has outplayed calderon in camp, right? in the practice footage, i thought calderon looked surprisingly springy considering his age and rep. he threw down during a drill, iirc. not that this means you're a great player, but the big knock on him is lack of fast-twitch ability.

whatever, i'd prefer most pg minutes eaten by russ and clarkson, but i figured he'd beat out huertas with one hand tied behind his back.

I forget this all the time myself, but Calderone is only a year or so older than Huertas, he just has a lot more NBA mileage on him

Definitely could have used his shooting tonight.

Huertas couldn't be more frustrating. That street ball doesn't look so good when you brick as much as he did.

Yeah, Calderone would have been so much better than Huertas tonight.

When we go through droughts like we did tonight, we need his 3pt shooting.

They sag way off of Huertas, and for good reason. Couldn't do that with Calderone.

Agree with everyone, I really miss Calderon. Our bench is missing some serious punch without him.

Yeah it was a struggle watching Huertas trying (and failing) to get a step on his defender while JC was "chilling" on the weakside .

I thought we wasted too many possessions like this .

Huertas was only in the game in the 2nd half cause of BI injury though ( I think so)

I'd like to have seen more from him last night, but I don't think it's majorly his fault. We got used to playing a certain way for 5/6 games with Lou/JC/Ingram/Nance/Black and the last 3 we got on a roll playing that way. Then Nance goes down and last night that switches to a 3 guard lineup, Lou and JC both need the ball, Calderon is a true PG kinda lost in that lineup, we miss Nance's energy and we look bad, especially on D.

Last night was the ebb and flow of a long season with a young team. We'll beat Dallas and Atlanta and then lose to Dallas. We've gotta take the good with the bad. Still optimistic, but we're probably not winning 65.
