Ingram is so thin, he makes his skinny jeans look baggy.

randle/clarkson/russell all in single digits with pretty horrible overall games, were only down 4 with a minute left at utah in the home opener. never would have happened under byron.

40 vs 20 fts? Didn't get to watch. Were we really fouling that much or typical Utah home cooking?

We did foul a lot but they definitely got a ton of free throws and calls that we didn't get.

A lot of unnecessary fouls from us ... It was already the case in pre-season.

JC dumb foul on Hood when we were up 4 in the 4th was a big momentum changer imo

I was glad Luke stood up to the refs for our players.

Well back to reality. Encouraged the guys kept fighting till the end despite bad games from most everyone. Few more shots going down we might have had more of a chance. As it is it was a game of runs and a Utah had the last one.

BTW anyone else with league pass experienced horrible streaming quality with this game? Mine kept freezing off and on. Absolutely frustrating.

@raviator yeah. I could only get the Utah stream to work. Listening to their bias was not fun.

So all the big guns shot terribly, and we were still in the game against a presumptive playoff team at home? I'll take it.

That's the thing I took away from it. We shot about as bad as I expect us to ever shoot in a game, from everyone, but they kept up the defense (even with all the one way foul calls).

We would have been blown out by 20 last year if we shot like this.

We shot bad and it wasn't the Utah defense (other than the big guy down low blocking shots). But we made the same outside shots against Houston. D'Angelo is gonna make them more often than not. We'll be fine.

Don't agree with this at all ... Utah outside D and ball pressure were a LOT better than Houston ones , they know they can be agressive on the perimeter with Gobert as the last line of defense .

DAR faced a tough defender in GH.

Utah was 6th in defensive efficiency last season .

What we are missing right now on O are counters ... It will take time

Once Ingram becomes the offensive juggernaut that he's destined to be I don't see us having issues scoring but instead he'll be a mismatch for every team. Once we get a Gobert type center our team would be drastically better. Lakers need to look to trade for defense
