Honestly, it just felt good watching the team play last night. The improved chemistry, ball movement, body language, etc was very evident to me. We've got a long way to go but that was nice and a good preview of what is coming down the road for this group of guys.

Houston was a very good first match-up. Good win. I hope this continues to build confidence for the team.

Agreed. It was nice seeing a staff that could actually adjust to the game. We really stepped our defense.

Utah next. Favors might not play next game. Hayward is out, too

2-0 start would be huge and then you have the Thunder who nearly lost to the freaking Sixers. Hopefully this team can get off to that kind of start. Would be huge for their confidence level.

Loved seeing the back n forth between Russell and Randle. This is the most I've ever seen them play together, they were finding each other throughout the game.

On a side note, nobody played more than 29 mins, which is a nice. I know Houston is poor defensively, but we are a potentially deep team if everyone puts in quality time like this.

^^^ Yes I just came in after seeing the box score and minutes for everyone in the Times to say how great it is ..... truly great it is ..... to be seeing rotations and substitutions that are not just good again, but really seem to be special. This is a key area where we're going to see "3 moves ahead thinking" Luke really shine I believe. I also believe his rotations will be even more fun than Phillip's (which could be fan frustrating at times, especially from not seeing young players we wanted to see), who basically played 8-9 guys and that was it. Always. Unless foul trouble or injury, and he played them more minutes.

I'll take the wins anyway I can get them right now. We play GS 3 times in November, so I'm hoping we get off to a decent start.

Lou only played 14 mins, too. If that continues, he might be dealt.

I think we can trade him for a wing that can defend and shoot; the player that A. Brown was supposed to evolve into. I'm looking for more utility guys that will balance out the roster.

The chemistry factor you can't say enough of... The banter between Russell and Young in the first quarter, Clarkson and Black playing off each other.
