How Do You Like The Themes?

    I tried them all and Sunday Whites is my favorite by a large margin (both aesthetically and in terms of eye strain)

    Yeah, Sunday White is the default for a reason, but I like that there are all different favorites for people. The whole goal of why I wanted them was to offer choice so people don't get bored with the site, and can change things up in an instant.

    There is a known preference, among all Web sites, for light themes, especially those with light backgrounds.

    Road Purple is slick! Kind of a strain on the eyes, but I like this overall concept.

    I like them all Barns, with slight favorite of road Purple. Getting into the Gold now too. Home White is great, and Lakers Nights with the black is cool.... looks good. Only thing there with Black (and I get "why" in keeping with uniform color schemes) is the Purple lettering a little hard to read, but not bad at all. Blue, such as in ZenMasters signature above is hard as well, but you really can't change anything. Great concept! Props! Again! [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    I've been using the Sunday Whites theme as it's really easy on the eyes.

    Very minor thing... but, when using the 'search function' with Lakers Nights, it is almost impossible to see what I am typing (it is black text in a dark grey box).

    Also, some of the menu bars have a purple background with purple text. For example, when looking at the members list, i cannot see "most likes", "most points", "staff members".

    Home Gold. Sunday Whites is too bright for my monitor to the point where I feel like I'm in a Downey commercial. Props Barns on the choices.

    I actually don't like any of the themes. I'm using Sunday Whites right now because it's easier on the eyes and has less clashing. But I feel like some of the areas where the gold is incorporated just look like stuff is highlighted. And then where there's gold on top of white it's pretty difficult to see.

    Some of the other themes just have very strong contrast, making it look a little too "in your face". It looks amateur.

    Now I'm not saying this to be negative. I'm just giving feedback. I do expect this site to slowly change little things here and there over time and I look forward to seeing the progression.

    Thanks for pointing those out. I'll take a look at these when I get back home.

    No problem at all. Any feedback is helpful, and we'll continue to tinker with the site's color scheme and design based on what people want/like.

    Well I am an armature at this so there is that haha.

    But honestly while the site is maybe 75% done, the overall colors of the themes are what they are, and I don't plan to make large changes to them (some small adjustments do need to be made) unless I get a lot of feedback that people aren't liking them. So far you're the only one that said they don't like any of them, and there's noting wrong with that opinion, but I have to go with the consensus. Seems like each theme has a good number of people that like them so far.

    After using the various themes I have changed my mind. "Sunday Whites" are the cleanest look in my opinion. No eye strain.
