The one thing about Russell is that he comes off as coachable. I don't think he'd take umbrage when Walton points out his shortcomings plus the latter knows how to communicate without coming off overbearing. I would not be surprised if Russell has a solid outing in the next game.
Looking forward to bounce back games offensively from Ingram and Russell. Also improvement in overall awareness from Julius.
If Luke really thinks Lou is a starter over JC and that Russ and Jc aren't best when playing together, well, he's already got me scratching my head.
I think Luke said he wasn't going to change the lineup (for now) because if he did it would be harder to gauge how they adjust.
be prepared for ingram to look rough/non-existent offensively for a lot of the season. let's see if he can become enough of an impact defender to stay on the floor, though. that would be a definite positive for a rook.
Like to see more Yi, not cause i like him...want to see if his shooting is enough to open up the paint. Hus shot release is so slow ans seems to need to gatjer himself too before the shot
Not sure if posted yet but... JC should absolutely start to be another ball handler/creator. Still not liking Lou. Sure instant offense and free throws but he needs to not be a ball stopper. And he is SMALL for a SG.
