Yes and even Nance mentioned, though in non disclosure fashion, something about animosity last year in a recent interview. If I'm recalling the word he used correctly.
That might have been the wrong word to use if I were him, but again at the end of the day, he needs to bring it on the floor.
It's Twitter and there are only so many characters. It's entirely possible those two things had 3-4 sentences between them. Is there actual audio of that?
BDG posted his interview with the note to check starting at 1:25 on page 3 of Media day 8 posts down. He definitely said it and was talking about Kobe. Really did not need to go there specifically and by name.
It was nice to hear Russell say that Nick and him are fine on the court, but that doesn't mean they have to be friends off the court. Mature answer and good to see Russell knowing where to draw the line.

fantastic read on Tarik. he's guy I'm pulling for that gets lost in the shuffle when talking about our youth. IIRC, he was considered a low character guy out of college, but he's been a total professional since joining the Lakers.
i'm one of the black supporters on this site. i expect him to win the backup c job in camp and keep it. i think management must have expected that, too, based on the salary commitment.
Dude is focussed! He expects to be great. Whatever that means in his mind .... I'm sure it's way up there from reading these accounts of him.
