I mean, we all kind of knew it was coming, but it's still great to hear. It stuff like Stranger Things, Bloodline, House of Cards, the Marvel Shows, etc. that has me scratching my head about all the people b****ing and canceling their Netflix service when it went from 8 to 10 bucks a month. Do you realize how freaking amazing 10 bucks a month is for the content we get from Netflix? And now with the deals it signed with Disney and CW, I mean 10 bucks a month for Netflix is probably the best value in entertainment, yet there were spoiled, entitled little brats making a huge deal over the two bucks. This makes me sound like I work for Netflix. I assure you, I do not. It just ticks me off that people in this country complain about these sorts of things and feel that everything should be free and the people that put work into all this stuff will somehow magically make money in "other avenues." To me it represents a more systemic problem with our society in general.
http://www.ew.com/article/2016/08/31/stranger-things-season-2-details-duffer-brothers Looks like they're gonna continue right where they left off. I like it. I was initially confused but apparently the trailer is indicating what the different titles of each episode will be. Nine of them in total, one more than season one.
So I watched Bourne, didn't know Riz Ahmed was there. The guy is the future with those Al Pacino eyes. Awesome JB movie, they're trying to turn JB into either JB or JB. Jason Bourne, James Bond, Jack Bauer, guys who have the same initials doing the same thing.
I wasn't a big fan of Bourne. I thought it was pretty average and not up to the usual Bourne standard, but it definitely had moments. Right now I'm watching Narcos Season 2. Damn that show is good.
I just binged season 1 of Mr. Robot. Episode 8 on till the end was just WOW!! I did not see all the twists and turns coming. Really well written show.
Can you give me a quick spoiler free description of the show? Hear good stuff about it but don't know much about it.
It's a psychological suspense show about a computer hacker. The plot is similar to what if Anonymous was trying to take down Microsoft or Google. That description doesn't spoil much because you kind of get that from the first episode but the thing that makes it great is all of the twists and turns you won't see coming in the story. Extremely well written. Pretty good acting too.
Dang, I want to check it out but it looks like its on Amazon Prime. I already have HBO Now and Netflix. I'm not paying for another subscription tv service
I would respond to that statement, but I can't read. Just finished season 2 today. Curious if they will make a season 3 given the way it ended.... hmmm. No spoilers.
I'm with you on Bourne. Wasn't feeling it. I'm watching "The Night Of" right now, and I'm not loving it. First episode was very good, especially the first forty minutes. Then it becomes a display of how awful everyone in the justice system is, at least through to episode three. Rather disappointing.
Finished a few things recently: Stranger Things - Mainly because everyone on here was mentioning it, thought it was great, glad they are making a follow up. Breaking Bad - Finally finished it, partner didn't enjoy it as much, also thought WW was one of the few characters who I hate/love at the same time, but overall I enjoyed it. Just started American Horror Story.
Just saw the first episode of Atlanta with Donald Glover, and it was fantastic. Really well written with great dialogue. I think they're up to like episode 4, so I can't wait to binge watch it tomorrow night.
