I think there is a little more to it. The D&D scene that started the show set up the entire season. As Barnes mentioned, the cinematography was fantastic. It captured the mood perfectly in so many instances. It also balanced a terrifying premise (a hideous monster from another dimension) with children going through children stuff. You never felt like the kids arguing among themselves the way children tend to do was trivializing the danger they were in, and especially Will was in. They also never let the kids get too smart. A lot of times when children drive the narrative, you find them becoming adults. The show was able to keep the perspective of child and yet still weave in the complexities of being an adult with Winona Ryder's character and with Jim Hopper. But I think the main thing it did was balance a straight up horror conflict and a child's point of view. That is incredibly hard to do.

I watched a couple episodes last night. Looks more like late 70's with the cars they are driving, but not terrible so far. :p

The finale of The Night Of was amazing. Surpassed my best hopes for last episode, while leaving a glimpse of a possible 2nd season.

I thought they were going to find him guilty and leave it up to us to decide if he did it or not.

I loved that his lawyer had his epic moment. Such a fantastic actor. I hope he wins some awards for his performance.

Is it weird that I watched this series twice in a week and want to watch it again?

I love One Punch Man. At first the style they draw Saitama turned me off, but then I got why they do that, and it's hilarious.

Possibly the best Anime's out there since Attack on Titan

    Thank you BOX!

Naz's lawyer did a fantastic job and I appreciate the Prosecution lady not continuing the trial. Just went to show how much respect she has for Investigator Box and the last second findings that he dug up. I could definitely see a 2nd season that is solely about the trial of this other guy and the series following up with how Naz is doing with his drug addition and life in general.

Unlike with most Cartoon Network anime, I managed to catch a commercial for One Punch Man before it started and not 230 episodes in like all their other shows. So I was able to catch it from the beginning, and I love it. It's so ridiculous, it's pretty unique, and the humor is so off the wall, it's a great show in IMO a sea of awful anime these days.

I think for torrents, you probably need to head to the dark web. (Not that I support it)

If you don't know what that is, I've already said too much.

It's where Roo and I keep our spreadsheets and such.;)

Download the TOR browser, and then look up the address for the hidden wiki

***immediately changes name, IP, and all passwords***

You may not hear from me for a minute.

I purchased the VPN to avoid anyone tracking my IP address. It was like $30 for 3 years.

I've tried extratorrent but that site is sketchy. So many things my malwarebytes/antivirus kills when I use that site.

The only others I use are PirateBay and AxxoMovies.org The problem with Axxo is they are very limited in how many movies they have.

I got a friendly email from my internet provider saying to stop downloading movies. LOL That's why I went with a VPN. But not sure how good it is.

Watched "The Last Kingdom" first season. I like old England era shows, and this one is about invading Vikings. Can't go wrong!

I just finished it and it was great. I love how they got the young lady lawyer in trouble for nothing. The judge was funny "not in my court!" and the jury was "yeah, in your court"
