Hey if Kobe can deliver in a different or more creative way to expand Shaq's net worth, money talks.

Or, maybe you're right. Kobe still wants another swing at the big a-hole like he threw or wanted to throw in practice back in the day after Shaq b**** slapped him and much later in life asked him pointedly "How does my a** taste Kobe? Kobe? (He really does still hate him ;) ;))

I don't know if everyone likes Bill Simmons here, but he interviewed Chris Sacca (who?) a while back... this guy happened to be a former google CEO during its huge growth in the mid 2000s and invested in twitter years before it took off; among other big wall street endeavors.

Anyhow, I don't remember what part in the interview, Chris talked about how Kobe contacted him about investing... and how initially Chris thought Kobe was full of "it". But to none of our surprise Kobe ended up being obsessed and thorough, calling him at all times of the day, asking him about how to wisely invest. I'll be frank, I know very little about investing and venture capital funds. But it was interesting nonetheless. In the podcast Simmons asked Chris if he and Kobe are working on something, and Chris said, "I can't tell you now" or something to that effect...

I have a feeling this is it lol

I read an article/interview about that. Sacca recommended Kobe some books to read, being sure this will be the end of it. Few days later, Kobe called him "armed" with ALL the knowledge from the books and with hundreds of new questions. Sacca knew Kobe is Kobe not only on a basketball court ;-).

I think Kobe did a fabulous job on designing the logo. Simple and sleek.

As driven as 24 is to succeed on the hardwood, he as equally off of it. Instead of just coasting off into the sunset, he chooses to make a mark on the outside world through his business and creative endeavors. He is smart enough to surround himself with talented people that will make it work. They aren't too many of his ilk. Much respect...

Damn, Kobe looking like he's taking his post NBA career immediately to new levels (and looking a little odd and immediately older with that beard), you'd expect nothing less. Happy Birthday to him, and I wish him nothing but continued success. He gave me 20 years of entertainment I'll never forget, I wish him nothing but the best and also that we still see him around the Lakers or at least in the public eye in some fashion.

I was watching Kobe on CNBC, he seems like he's more passionate about media/business than he was in basketball. Good for him.

Kobe seems to have an obsessive personality which can be both good and bad. He seems to be channeling it the right way.

Just like with anything, he's going to struggle at some point, but in 10-20 years from now, we'll know for sure.
