    BTW, there's only one player on this roster I can't really root for - and that's Nick Young. I don't even hate him. I want him to turn his life around. So maybe I'm rooting for him to become the kind of dude I can root for. Otherwise, what a great roster we're putting together. I think it's a very high character (for basketball purposes) team.

    yi does represent a shooting big, something i thought was missing from the roster. i'm hopeful he's not chinese ryan kelly, as we mused in another thread, prior to his signing.

    still, though, big that can do things away from the basket on offense: check.

    You guys are sounding like your impression from the new Lakers free agency current reports is that Yi is probably coming? Should I be excited I think?? He's better than Kelly and shot OK in the league? Plus (?) he's more versatile? athletic? handles for a Big? create any of his own shots?



    Well s*** ..... LOL. Just finished my post and go to the main board and BOOM I see the Yi thread. :Headbang:

    I'm still interested to hear how much we have upgraded over Kelly.
