NOT if he returns to form and plays well and teaches [IMG] good Big Man s***. He's not one dimensional. Agree to disagree.

Bass deserved that $6mill more than black did, it wouldve been more useful had we given that money to bass and before anyone says black is a C, bass is the same height as black and can actually hit a jumper something black cant do

i like plumlee; was wondering why he hadn't signed yet. that's more than i thought he'd fetch, though. i was actually going to mention him as a potential counterexample to my own argument in the mozgov thread, but that's sort of gone now.

That's way more than he should have gotten from Milwaukee anyway. Another team in need of a big man I could understand, but Milwaukee already has a bunch.

don't want to let an asset walk, i guess? one of those teams that could use him might offer you something in trade down the road.

True enough. They've also got a couple of bucks to spend. I also know they're trying to trade Monroe.

Turns out it's 4/52 million so Plumlee got even more than Clarkson.

I mean if you really respect 'em you give them a meeting or at least a phone call, but hey that's okay. He knew where he was going as soon as FA started.

LOL. It's hard to be where HE wants to be. I guess you have to be the best team in the NBA history, loaded with stars and with 2 straight championship runs (should be 2 championships).
    Still a p****.

I think the respect factor can interpreted either way. He made it pretty clear he wasn't interested in a rebuild, and wanted to avoid wasting our time. If we got that meeting and waited until he made his decision (July 4th) Mozgov and Deng would likely have been gone. I appreciate that he didn't troll teams that had no chance.

yeah, i'm starting to wonder whether these meetings actually mean anything at all. word has leaked out about most of the major FAs having made their decisions prior to meeting with anyone. i think the meetings are simply running out the ground ball.

to me, this means that the guys who meet with fewer teams are the ones that are really being considerate. and yes, i agree that durant not meeting with the lakers was a big help this year.

Translation: they're a couple of years away from kicking my a** then I could check them out and see if I can come aboard.
