Brown is just like starkus, still living off of college rep for being a shooter but in gm hes terrible at making shots

So, anyone a little intrigued about Auguste after tonight's game? He wasn't great game 1, but he seemed like someone to keep an eye on the entire summer league, not one game only. He had some nice stretches tonight, scored when no one was, played solid d, definitely seems like a good teammate out there. He seems like a camp invite at least, and possibly a 15th roster spot, non guaranteed. I haven't been impressed with Jabari so far and one thing Auguste has you can't teach is size.

^Agreed, he sounds like a great assistant coach and 10x the coach Byron is.

Good points guys. Exactly right about first 3 quarters, just flush them down the toilet.. Let them go look at the film but how they came back collectively was huge. Great game for the team to go through.

Turiaf at one point used to be strong like a bull and played some dog defense. Sorry that was one of, to a lot of ours us in general, one of our favorite scrappy laker haha.

Btw sirron, you're comparing a gala Apple to a honey crisp... Both delicious apples at the end of the day, but just two different tastes though IMO ;)

I'm not a huge mermuys fan...he is kind of weird to me, not from a coaching perspective but in his interviews.

Agreed. He doesn't know how to speak well that's my first impression when I saw his postgame interview after pelican game, which in turn makes me think he's extremely young. Seems like a nice guy but the words that come out just seem... odd i guess. demeanor is strange are the best 3 words I can describe...

Damn, you guys are harsh. I like Jesse, he just speaks like a California beach dude. Nothin wrong with that if he knows what he's talking about and what he's doing.

wth lol...that's some superficial stuff you two don't like. You notice how the young guys keep mentioning how they love their coaches. Jesse is at the forefront at the moment, and they mean him I would think.

This ^^^ Nothing wrong with his manner, he just has a lot of energy. Why he keeps moving all the time. Agreed he would have been infinitely better than Boron the a-Hole.

I feel like Jesse will gain a lot of respect from these young kids and really get them to play with intensity and confidence. i especially like that comment about Brandon being a human being and feeling pressure despite possibly saying otherwise. Theyre already performing a lot better and the games are definitely "funner" lol

Auguste is not the smoothest player out there but he is very active, all over the place and constantly after the ball. You can't put a price on hustle. He'd be good as a practice fodder if he latches on.

Man, I like coach Jesse! Ignore the occasional odd mannerisms and his voice intonation and listen to his words and message. He is obviously a bright coach who is in tune with his young guys, I'm glad we have him. Also, lol at the slight camera pan over to Serena Winters at the end of that clip.
