The Lakers shirley will not fear any team in the NBA physically or in a fist fight. We have some big, mobile and strong dudes.

Gnarls Barkley was on NBA TV last night and made the same comments about opponents looking to belt them around. He also said that Golden State was lucky the year before with injuries to key players of other playoff teams on their way to winning it all. Lastly, Da Chuckster called Durant a "gravy trainer..." Ooohhh...

For a team that constantly get's knocked out of the playoffs, you'd imagine they would look to improve somewhere instead of resigning the same players again. CP3 ain' getting any younger.

Yeah I'm not suggesting they got worse, just that they aren't as deep. Obviously KD's production is worth way more than a couple of bench players, but I still think they won't be as deep. It's true that their starting lineup will be so overwhelming it may not matter. But if they have an injury or if 2 of Durant/Klay/Steph have a bad night, they have less players to spell that and ignite the team. That's all I'm saying. But they're not done filing out their bench and they'll likely get some solid vets to finish it off.

I can't believe the obvious nepotism of Rivers hasn't been called out by anyone. I mean seriously. Who is offering that kid anything more than a box of crackerjacks?

I mean yeah, they're the 3rd best team in the West with Durant leaving OKC, but when you keep losing in the 2nd round you probably look to change a few parts. Crawford, great. Wes, Luc, Rivers, super meh.

i will say on their behalf:

    1. i think continuity does matter and helps you win games.
    2. i think there's value in being in the handful of contenders, even with the gs jugglerknot in place. we saw what a knee twist to curry can do.

but, in summary, f rivers and his son and his teammates.

It's the bed Doc has made for himself to lay in with monies available. Ya takes your chances with them big contracts, like holding DJ at gunpoint in TX last year until he signed. The overriding factor in ALL that they do and Doc does ..... is that they are the freaking Clippers and they're always going to "Clip". It's what they do, some way some how.... always. Paul ain't getting no younger.

Looking at the FA list, we could really use a guy with Lance Stephenson's ability/skill set. If only he wasn't a knucklehead. Then again, if he wasn't, he would have been taken already.

True; he's a guy I wouldn't want influencing our players.

This roster is missing a combo guard capable of being a defensive stopper. Too bad Lance is coo coo for coco puffs.
