I can - and I shall, but I'll have to do it tomorrow. It's past my bed time. Need my beauty rest. So sit tight.

This one hurts a little but we probably would have had to pay a little more. Oh well.

I'm hoping the Lakers shore up the roster using the remaining cap space for:

    - Grevais Vasquez (3 years/30 mil?)
    - Meyers Leonard (Restricted and coming off injury - sign him to a 4 year/48 mil offer sheet and see if Portland blinks. Young center who can shoot the 3. Age allows him to grow with our core. Plus goes anyone trust Mozgov to play 82 games and 30min a night? We need options!)

    Russell/Vasquez
    Clarkson/Williams
    Deng/Ingram
    Randle/nance
    Mozgov/Leonard/zubac

You know, aside from Mozgov getting a little too much per year these two signings are pretty good... we now have two high character guys that play the same positions as our rookies and can mentor them along.

I'm not sure we have enough cap room left to give Wade what he wants. I read somewhere we only have $17 million. Doesn't seem like someone Mitch would be afterwards anyways. Personally, I'd like it and think that Wade still has plenty in the tank. But I feel like if we did sign him to a big contract, everyone would laugh at us for giving big money to another aging star.

    I kind of don't agree.

The owners are getting their own slice of this pie. This is for all intents and purposes inflation. That's why so many writers are talking about percentage of cap instead of gross dollars. The prices are going up on all sides so nobody is really being left behind. There'll be some complaints, but it's not as bad as the optics say. There's not much of a leg to stand on. If the owners are getting their cut, then who is being hurt?

    Quick notes:

    1. :D :D :D :D Durant turned down the Clippers. Morons.

    2. The Clippers gave 3/35 million to Austin Rivers and 3/18 million to Wesley Johnson... 43 million to the most epic scrubs. :D :D :D :D :D

    Oh it makes me giddy.

Wait til Memphis goes 15-35 in the first 50 games. Then again, like the Dodgers tv deal, they do not need fans anymore. They have the TV money.

Well, whether we want to or not we are going to have to spend more money on someone.

With everyone under contract now, we are at the following:
    Name 2016-17
    Luol Deng $16,800,000
    Timofey Mozgov $15,000,000
    Jordan Clarkson $11,200,000
    Lou Williams $7,000,000
    Nick Young $5,443,918
    D'Angelo Russell $5,332,800
    Julius Randle $3,267,120
    Larry Nance Jr. $1,207,680
    Anthony Brown $874,636
Guaranteed Total: $66,126,154 + Ingram Cap Hold of $4,401,400 + Zubac's cap hold which I am not sure = roughly $70,527,554

The minimum a team must spend to avoid incurring a penalty will be $84.7 million.
