What bothers me is that he could have done that here but we didn't even get a meeting.

How did everyone convince themselves that the C Bags were so much further ahead than us?

Oh well. Tyson Chandler 2.0 this summer.

it could be a story for the ages. Durant bails and goes there to team up with Horford. Seeing the championship window in OKC closing, Westbrook comes out to LA next year. That would be a legendary Finals matchup.

Yeah, but I'd still be rooting for the C Bags' team-plane to crash on the way to the game.

I find the image odd, why would a beautiful stud Dolphin in a setting like that looking at a rainbow want to die? :KobeConfused:

Does Durant really think Horford+Boston is better than Westbrook/Adams?

I doubt it. Throw in Oladipo as well. He might be better than anything on Boston's roster not named Horford or Thomas.

Doesn't really matter. The East is a whole different ball game, if KD went to Boston they would essentially have a bye through the first two rounds of the playoffs, then a tough test in the ECF against LeBron and whoever comes out of the West. With the Thunder he has a battle every round. What LeBron has done coasting through the east year after year doesn't go unnoticed.

Doesn't mean KD goes to Boston or anything, but that has to be part of the equation.

I'm thinking those 48 wins and playing in a crap conference helped.

That's a good signing for Phil. Lee's a quality player. Very reasonable amount, too.

48 wins - 17 wins = 31 more wins. Eastern conference + Brad Stevens. I get why he chose Boston over us, but he'll regret it in 2 years.

I disagree. Playing in the East is great, but is KD that much of a b**** that he's willing to leave an absolute SUPERSTAR like Westbrook just to play in the East? I don't see it. They were one freaking game away from the Finals and who knows they may have beaten Cleveland or at least pushed them to 6 or 7. They just had an INCREDIBLE trade in return for Ibaka. That team is loaded. To leave that team for the C Bags just to play with Horford is stupidity personified.

Damn Knicks should be back in the playoffs this year. Early prediction 4th seed if healthy.
