    Not even the two years prior to this season? The ones where he was 9.5 points and 7 rebounds? 8/6 sounds low. I'd think 9/7 is more like what we're going to get. Is that a big difference? Nah. I know lots of people are talking about "X player will fill the Y role" stuff. I'm not sure how to think about these claims except in terms of scheme. Saying a player will play the Bogut role is different from "he will produce like Bogut." If the Bogut role is in the paint, PnR, defending, then I'm going to have to disagree. Bogut can't shoot, but Mozgov can. Bogut is an elite defender. Mozgov is only above average. Mozgov will do different things for us offensively, and he'll do less defensively. I hope that comparing Bogut to Mozgov isn't what's holding you up on this one.

    They got their man, and there's something to be said for that. I'll have to see what the plan is. I don't think it's a bad signing, but it might be desperate. Then again, many players who have signed deals sounds like they've capitalized on desperate teams. That's sort of the way free agency works. As a player, you're the seller, and the buyers flock to you.

    Personally, I'm not trying to justify this deal. I'm just trying to understand how it will work, because he's on the team now.

    One thing I like about Mozgov, he seems to pretty violent with his finishes around the rim, a lot of dunks. Hate seeing 7'0" footers going up soft.

    Yes this was a desperation signing and to me the "kool-aid" is that he'll make a difference, dont think he will or at least to the point of earning even 80% of that contract. Would not surprise me if he becomes more of a hindurance than a contributor in 2yrs....i hope that 4th yr really is a tm opt. Id glady eat crow if hes anything more than anothet kwame brown

    Since when does Denver need a Center? Don't they have 2 or 3 young Centers? And when teams go small we will too.

    I don't love this deal but it's not as bad as allong that. It's fine.

    I'll believe it when someone like Woj reports it. I don't see why they wouldn't have any options in it, but we won't know till later in the week.

    Anti-Mozgov has to be Team Cap. We all know it's not good, but like Tony Stark, pro-Mozgov is trying to figure out a way to justify it. :D
