    So... cons:

    1. worst record in franchise history
    2. 6 core players entering their 3rd season or less (mostly less)
    3. 1 real NBA player (aside from above and Nick) on the roster
    4. Highest, by a large margin, state income tax
    5. Disarray (allegedly) in FO
    6. The weight of expectations (see DeRozan, DeMar)

    Pros:

    1. money
    2. highly touted, but inexperienced, coach
    3. LA lifestyle
    4. um... weather?

    How could any of you expect the Parsons, Noahs, Horfords and Durants of the world to sign here?

    Delusion at its best.

    P.S.

    I didn't want DDR during the season, because I thought he is not THE star we need. I've been proven correct, on one hand.
    On the other hand - the above delusion made this discussion moot.

    Courtney Lee, Harkless, Crabbe, Gerald Henderson, JR Smith, Dion Waiters.

    Then you have Harrison Barnes who's restricted and probably dependent on the Durant decision.

    And we haven't ruled out Lebron either. (kidding, but he is technically a Free Agent who hasn't denied having a meeting with us.)

    Thats kinda why I feel a sense of urgency. The decent-high character guys were flying off the shelf. JR, waiters are the last thing these young guys need.
    But like i said, we dont' have much leverage. But if we do have a choice, i say no to low character guys like them. Im hoping for harkless.

    So, when the CBA negotiations start in a few years, are the owners going to cry about paying the players too much money? They can not blame the Lakers anymore for anything. What will it be now?
