That's almost reasonable compared to some deals guys have been getting, like that dirty little player formerly of the Cavs.

Wow. Dodged a bullet with that one. Kent Bazamore is not worth 72 mil.

Actually he is because that's what the market says he's worth.

That contract last season is worth roughly 12.5 million a year. Pricey, but there's not a ton of impact players in FA right now. That's what Bazemore is worth and in fact it's a better deal than some of the others that have gone through already.

edit- for reference a similar player (in terms of FA, not on the court) in DeMarre Carroll got 4/60 million last season which is basically the same contract Bazemore got this summer.

Not a ton left but Afllalo and Deng come to mind. Harkless is still out there. Barnes, Marvin Williams, Allen Crabbe, Joe Johnson, Matt barnes, Gerald Green, Chase Budinger... Wesley Johnson...

Damn. Good effort though by Mitch. At least they're trying to get players. Let's try and get Deng.

We offered 4/72 to Bazemore? I'm going to freak out soon.

Anyone worth considering on their roster right now? I'd take Thabo and/or Korver if they'd like :) Better throw us a pick though.

Darn. Now, that they missed out on Bazemore, I can see them aggressively going after Ryan Anderson. They'll pony up the money.

Wings. Deng, Harkless, probably top my list.

It's clear that FAs have 0 respect for the Laker front office and the current roster, and rightfully so. They did not show much in the way of being solid, competitive players, with Scott being half the problem, and the rest of the blame squarely on them. I'm hoping Randle, Russell, Clarkson and the rest step back and get angry and motivated to show 'em all they made a mistake not teaming with them...us against the world, I want to see an angry bunch next year that hates losing, not the crap I've seen for 3 years. The only thing that's going to fix this mess is the young guys getting it together with their new promising coach leading the way. Look what Brad Stevens has done with the crap he has, pull some quality men from the rest of the FAs, talented or not, but guys that will aggressively compete night in night out. That's how they can attract some quality players back into the Laker family...
