That's a good deal for Al, but he was clearly declining last season. I have to assume this is a bench position too because he's really the opposite of what they were going for.

Heard the same s*** about Hibbert last year. Same, exact elephant dung. Decent players, no matter what system or who they are playing are not going to sit a decent player and play him 6 min a game in 21 playoff games if he didn't stink to high heaven.

I'm ok with KD going to GSW, we might have a shot at getting Barnes or maybe even Iggy from them. I hated OKC fans anyways, bunch of donks who hate on LA for whatever reason.

Horrible comparison. They're completely different players. Mozgov's play declined because of injury. Hibbert declined because he just couldn't play in this league anymore. Huge difference there. Cavaliers put him out of the rotation because he was never himself due to injury.

No exaggeration. I'd rather have Mozgov. Al Jeff is in serious decline. I have to assume this is a bench move for them.

If this is decline, I'd rather have him over Mozgov

But what is done is done...I'll support Mozgov from here on out, there's no going back so might as well get behind this guy

He doesn't really fit what we're doing, low-post scorer who can't defend ... But I would've liked Jefferson.

I wouldn't have minded Al, but I would've preferred Timofey because of his defense. They're both solid veterans who would've both been great for Russell, Clarkson, Randle, Nance Jr., and Ingram.

You're also talking about a guy who needs the ball in his hands to be effective.

Taking away from the system we're trying to put in place for the young cats.

Moz sets big, effective screens and rolls to the hoop.

Sorry, I'd still go with Mozgov.

Big Al was a terrible defender in his prime. Now that he's older? Blugh.

Also, his fit here would've been terrible. He's not a good pick & roll big. His offensive game is in the post, if memory serves. Not the style I think Luke is looking to play.

My issue again is with the money. Is Mozgov probably a better fit for what we are doing than Al? Yes, but we couldn't have gotten him for close to that same deal? All this money will add up in time and will also matter next offseason if our kids show improvement and someone good actually does want to come here next season. We couldn't have gotten Mozgov for 3/35 or 4/48 even?

He played only 47 games last season, is 31 years old with over 25,000 minutes on his legs, needs the ball at all times to be effective, and can't do anything besides post up anymore. He cant defend, he can't run, he isn't a great passer, he's not athletic...

I like him and would have accepted him as a bench scoring big, but other than that? I'd prefer Mozgov.

And an injured Noah got $18M for a guy who's not really offensively inclined. Market is relative.
