On one hand, I like that we didn't wait around for the other chips to fall. BUT on the other hand....what was the urgency with Mozgov? Who else was seriously considering him? I feel like we bid against ourselves. 4 years 65M? What exactly did Mozgov do to deserve that? Even when he was playing well, he wouldn't be worthy of that kind of deal. I'm just in total shock that we actually overpaid for a mediocre player. I would have been fine with paying that much if it were Biyombo or someone younger......but Mozgov? I really need to see how he fits with this team before I make any judgments. Yes, he was good in the NBA finals....2 years ago. Now? I am not sure. He just turned 30. I don't like signing older players to 4 YEAR DEALS. Please tell me there's a team option somehwere....

I just can't believe how incompatent they're. First they kept a terrible coach for far too long so we shouldn't be surprised. Now they're signing a backup center for FIFTEEN MILLION WHAT THE HELL MAN. They can draft that's great well they can't get good free agents and they can't draft well. I mean how are you this bad? Seriously whoever made this idiotic decision needs to go. What a joke.

If that's the case, I'd much rather we offer 4 years, 65 million to Meyers Leonard. But oh well. In Mitch I trust...I guess.

I think we will pursue a big name guy.

But for several off seasons we have watched this team chase after big names while 2nd and 3rd tier guys who could have helped us sign elsewhere. Definitely okay with them targeted and signing some of those guys first for once.

I'd rather have a 23 year old Biyombo at 18mil than a 30 year old Mozgov at 15mil. Jesus H christ

Mozgov... Freaking Mozgov is our first call and we're talking $16+ mil per year? I'm..I'm trying to remain calm here, I really am, but I feel like I'm gonna puke. We're taking a guy that couldn't get on the court for Cleveland when games mattered for that money.. This is a guy that became a verb for being dunked on, "you got Mozgov'd". I just...wow.

If you think this is a decent move, just know that Bill Simmons is gleeful right now laughing at us.

Not sure they should be talking with how they drafted.

I am very upset at this move. I will be getting drunk. I preemptively apologize for any saltiness I might convey. I will try to remain calm and civil.

    I don't mind Mozgov, but I'm really hoping it's not 4yrs 65mill.

F*** Bill Simmons. Someone tweet back to him simply "2010 Finals. Up 3-2. Lose series". But good lord he has every right to be making fun. I almost feel like we'd be less ripe for mocking if we maxed out Dwight Howard.

Biyombo will get paid close to max of if not best it unless he decides to take less money. Noah is working on a framework with the Knicks on a 18 million dollar deal.
