Hells to the NO. Ingram contributes to winning now. Especially if the plan includes a bonafide starter to be picked up and him to be brought along ideally in Luke's mind and with optimized match ups. He's going to score "big" for a rook.
More and more I feel like you are my long lost brother. Or was it sister? I don't remember... the family moved a lot.
Dang he looks super skinny here. Definitely not an NBA ready body. Curry could manhandle that kid lol. I RETRACT all deals involving Dragan Bender lol
I listened to Woj's Vertical podcast this morning and he was with Jonathan Givony the Draft Express fella. Jonathan said Ellenson is the kind of guy who could go 10th or 25th and if he slides that far down the Lakers could try to move up from #32 and get him. They also talked about the point you've made which is having a ton of picks in a draft full of okay talent is really a NEGATIVE not a positive as the stupid media has been trying to spin all year long. Having three picks in the first round this year means having 3 players that are unlikely to contribute right away to a winning team. Even worse, many of the international players this year have left their teams and expect to be in the NBA this season meaning there's not many draft and stash candidates. Guys will force their way here, so there's not even a market for ways to get rid of their picks. The draft NEXT year is supposed to be much better so teams aren't willing to trade future picks for this year's picks. There should be a good market for teams who want a pick in the late first from teams like Philly and Boston that don't want their picks.

Awesome news! Welcome aboard kid! Can't wait to get my Brandon Ingram jersey. We've already got Baby Steph (D'Angelo), baby Chuck (Randle), and soon baby Durant!
I love it. It also holds with what everyone is now saying about this draft: all the teams in it have explored trying to move these picks for Butler, Cousins, Hayward and none of those teams is sold on ANY player in this draft being good enough for that. Interesting, but we'll just have to wait and see. Either way, I could not be more excited about Ingram joining the team. He's going to be a heck of a player. A longer, taller George Gervin with an outside shot? He can do it!
