but but...boston has ALL DA PIX! as i've been saying for a while, they don't really have great assets. anything they want, i think the lakers could trump their offer. they're a better team...for now.
Not smart, gotta go Nike http://bossip.com/417363/hi-hater-kobe-throws-shade-at-derrick-roses-new-adias-sneakers-video/
If you ever wanted proof that this is a 2 player draft, look no further than a #3 pick getting turned down for Khris Middleton.
Yep. The Lakers have clearly better talent on the floor and now a modern coach that can turn that talent into production. If Luke is as good as I think he is we can be as good as them next season. Obviously we wouldn't be a playoff team and they would, but that's what happens in the East. Put the C Bags in the West and they're not a playoff team by any stretch.
You were right. I'd thought they could flip those picks into an impact player. I thought they would include players with their picks, though.
Hell to the yeah...what RandleROFY says! Post #2402 Screw 'em! Whew...now I feel so much better. Real talk....
Lakers getting Ingram would really be the next great news. Then all we need is a couple of proven vets and we are really set for future success.
Im a nike guy for the past 20+ years... but the new ultra boost adidas shoes i got as a present, are the most (and by A LOT) comfortable shoes i have ever owned. Nike's air, zoom, podulon, lunarlon or whatever, pales in comparison. Just saying .
Kobe started off his NBA career with Adidas, so Ingram is in good company! I'm kinda glad he is going against the grain. I can't remember the name of Kobe's Adidas shoe but it was super comfortable and awesome looking.
oh, i wasn't making fun of you, more the media that has been smugly claiming that boston was in such a great position in the rebuild, while the lakers were rudderless and dead. i thought they were in the same spot a couple years ago, then the lakers pulled ahead when they drafted russell. this year's draft lottery had to go boston's way for them to get ahead of la, and it didn't. it's why simmons wanted to cry that night. boston has no potential stars on the roster, and little means to acquire one. everyone has correctly classified their roster as a collection of solid role players, most of whom have reached their peaks. a bunch of mid to late first rounders isn't going to move the needle. if anything, teams with those picks are going to have to take a hard look at selling them or rolling them over, as there's not really room to develop 7 guys if you're trying to win basketball games. everyone said the lakers should have dumped kobe like boston dumped pierce and kg and rondo, but who knows? when the book's written, maybe boston should have let their guys retire in green instead of stockpiling a bunch of olynyk-level talent.
But do we trade the pick after selected...? So many options available to us, but how important is winning now to Jim/Mitch?
we should draft ingram, then trade the pick to the C Bags for all their mid-first rounders and jae crowder's aunt. at least i think that's what espn said we should do...
