If that's true then you'd have to believe they've made their choice, as he's not giving us a workout. Dinner and a workout for only them, he's #1, and hopefully we're smart and take Ingram.
Simmons to Philly. Ingram to the Lakers. Done deal. Same as we've all known since the Lottery. And I'm still just as psyched as I've been all along.
welcome to LA brandon ingram the guy most of us have wanted this whole time and exactly the type of player the lakers need
It was mostly a formality but now it's confirmed. That means Brandon Ingram will be a Laker and I couldn't be more excited about that prospect. Simmons has a bit of "it" factor about him, but I still have major concerns about his mentality. I have no such concerns with Ingram.
Agreed. Simmons probably has a higher ceiling, but also a much lower floor. Wouldn't be surprised if he was a full-on bust in the league. However, I'd be SHOCKED if Ingram was a bust. He's at worst a solid wing. My money's on future All-Star, though.
This is an hour long podcast, but the first 10-20 minutes are on the comparison's between Ingram and Simmons. Like we have all said Mike Schmitz pointed out Simmons mentality and at times running from shots. Good listen from a guy who has seen a lot of prospects. Nate Duncan on the other hand doesn't know what he is talking about.
Here's an anonymous scout with just TONS of info on almost every player in the draft discussion. http://www.campusrush.com/2016-nba-...-brandon-ingram-1872857167.html?xid=si_social His excerpt on Ingram:
No. There was a dude that claimed that Ingram has the disease. Sirron re-tweeted it and apparently Jenny replied. BTW, the fact she did can gives away something. Lakers are absolutely set on Ingram.
Good point. I'm a bit relieved if the Sixers really did confirm they are taking Simmons. I wanted Ingram from the first time I watched their highlight videos and compared the two. I'm still predicting that Ingram will be better than Simmons in a few years max.
