Interestingly Buddy says this is his second workout with the Lakers and that it's his first individual workout. So the previous workout was in a group...

Trade Russell for another top 5 pick? Not sure how that's progress, as we'll continue to get younger.

This angers me in its ridiculousness. We'd be concerned with Ingram's NBA readiness when we have a team of almost all young guys we are also developing and are in a rebuild? We'd trade the #2 pick from last season who showed flashes of brilliance for a top 5 pick and start all over again with development of another guard who would also be less NBA ready than Russ being a rookie? Exactly how far did Ford have to reach up his a** to pull this stuff out?

I admire his confidence, but you don't draft Hield at 2. If we wanted Hield we could trade down for the 5th or 6th pick and get another nice player while still getting Hield. Nobody has Hied going as high as 2, and I don't think I've seen him higher than 5 anywhere at all. Also you don't take Hield at #2 so the C Bags don't get Ingram or Simmons, you'd trade down with another team that wants one of those guys at #2 to get Hield and still block Boston from getting one of them. Why? Because f*** Boston, that's why.

My big balls scenario was trading down to take Bender and Hield, assuming we'd be signing a max SF. I never envisioned Russell being part of anything headed out though. Makes very little sense unless there is even more we don't know.

Play it safe and pick whoever is left out of Ben and Brandon. Sending one of these guys C Bags way is a betrayal!

Ford is a moron. Russell would be going number one in this draft so how exactly does trading him for #5 or even 4, 3, or 2 make us better? This is the weakest draft in years.

Ingram - size and build of Durant, shooting form of Dirk, reach of Drummond, release like Klay. He's a boss.

I don't have a very high opinion of Hield. Average SG. But if we take anyone other than Ingram at #2, I'll choke slam someone.

Two words that are not in Fraud's vocabulary: Due diligence.

Fraud is also on a little crusade against DAR right now. It's a bit childish, but it's fitting because he fills in his draft board with washable crayola markers. No smudges! No stains! Removes all wrong selections in one swipe!

I don't think he's too undersized. It's probably more like appropriately sized to possibly play the 2. GS system doesn't really have a PG; they play as much position-less basketball as any team in the league. They got a good look at him, though. I guess we'll see...

If we're at #3 I'd be completely down to take Hield. It's a shame because I think he really is going to be a special talent. The confidence, work ethic, and the fact his game fits in so perfect with today's NBA. Hield will be better than Ingram right away, I have no doubt but we're drafting Ingram based on the intangibles and what lines ahead for him.

If we didn't have clarkson and Lou and yet still had the #2 pick I wouldn't be that amazed if we went Hield at #2, but like others have said if we really want him let's trade down.

Ingram will be a catch and shoot guy the day he enters into the league; I think he'll take time to develop the other parts of his game, though.

Where there is smoke theres fire....

If we draft Hield its because we're trading down. Takes a lot of stones to take him at #2.
